Grinkle Park is a lovely hotel in a beautiful part of the North Yorkshire Moors. The staff are all very friendly and it is a lovely place to stay with your dog. We had a very large room and a very comfortable bed.

There are 2 deluxe dog rooms and I think two smaller standard rooms, all near each other on the first floor, the lowest of the bedroom floors. We were in Azalea, a very large deluxe with a large bed, views to two sides and it was very quiet. The grounds were also large, plenty of space to wander around. Everywhere is dog-friendly except for the main restaurant, but the conservatory is lovely to eat there with the dog at breakfast and evening meal and a great view overlooking the gardens. Yes, you can get forgotten about sometimes in the conservatory where you eat with your dog, especially if you are the only one with a dog in the hotel at the time, but there does seem to be a quite limited number of staff, and it didnā€™t happen often. We ate there all 4 evenings and the menu changed each day ā€“ not a huge choice but always something for everyone and given I have quite a few allergies, they were happy to accommodate changes if Iā€™d have needed them to do. The staff were very friendly. Not all networks work here and they donā€™t have a secure wifi but it just seems to be just in the immediate vicinity, you donā€™t have to go far to get a signal if you need one.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? See above. The room was on the top floor and too small.
Grinkle Park was lovely. One issue was that the room was very small, especially with a dog crate and it was on the top floor. I understand all the dog friendly rooms are on the top floor which was less than ideal with a 6 month old puppy. Luckily Nelly managed to avoid any accidents but had I have known beforehand the rooms were on the top floor I would not have chosen it. The staff were very friendly and the food was good but not sure I would recommend it for a puppy or large dog.

Good hotel which is very dog friendly. Beautiful grounds to walk the dog in. Standard double room is a bit small so if you are taking your dog I would upgrade. There were some issues with our room but we reported them and they were dealt with. Food was a bit hit and miss, good on the first night but not as nice on the second night, I don't know if it was a different chef or not. Overall, definately worth a visit with your pooch.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The hotel manager was profusely apologetic and if we had booked direct with the hotel we would have received an immediate refund. As we booked through petspyjamas we apparently have to wait up to a month which is very annoying, especially as we paid over
Lovely building and gardens. Unfortunately our room was beset with intolerable noise and vibration from a faulty ventilation system so we had to leave after just one night. Dining with our dog meant eating in the conservatory which wasn't entirely satisfactory as it's a through route to the garden so people walking past our table all the time. It's not a hotel for vegetarians - only one main dish offered at dinner and that was a rather bland vegetable pie with inedible pastry. Their idea of a veggie cooked breakfast is just to leave out the meat.
