I have just come across my receipt from a stay at Mallory Court last year which reminded me of our wonderful stay so thought I should pop on here to write a review. My partner and I stayed at Mallory Court last October (pre lockdown) to celebrate my birth
Food was amazing! atmosphere amazing! Staff were amazing!

Booking was handled by Melanie, and from start to finish was a really easy experience, she took our requirements very seriously gave us lots of brilliant options for what we needed and found us Mallory Court. And what a brilliant weekend getaway, with spa

Where do I start - Made this booking a few months ago paid in full upfront. Since then, COVID19 has happened and suddenly the thought of a nice relaxing weekend away becomes not very 'essential'. I called the Hotel who I have to admit were very professional and pleasant to deal with. The lady kindly explained to me that the hotel had been closed inline with government guidelines and therefore my reservation would be cancelled and to expect contact from Petspyjamas. I never received any contact from PP and therefore took it upon myself to contact them. Its impossible to speak to an actual person at PP whichever department you select you are asked to leave your name and number and someone will get in contact. I done this on two occasions with no response. Next step, I sent an email clearly explaining the situation and even more clearly asking for a refund in full (as is my right) to be paid back into my account. I got a response from a Georgia Smillie at PP who offered me credit to rebook in future. However if i was 'adamant' I wanted a refund (great use of language by them!) it could take up to 90 working days to look into and then a further 30 working days to process the refund. Thus, in total 6 months to get my money back! I responded immediately (26/03/2020) stating I clearly wanted a refund. And so the ridiculous continues. Since this date (26/3) I've had no response to emails, calls, tweets! but they continue to send me marketing junk via email! I have spoken to the hotel again today who again were fantastic and they are looking to see what they can do if anything! however, because petspyjamas get paid direct from its customers the hotels redeem after you have stayed. So Petspyjamas are sitting on my cash and I have an awful feeling that they no their going out of business. any personal emails to people within their organisation get pinged back as out of office. shocking business taking advantage of people during this crisis.

We had an excellent stay at the Mallory Court Country House Hotel. The room was beautiful and very spacious. A great place to play indoors! The staff absolutely loved Penelope. And the grounds are large and beautiful--a great place to run and have fun! The staff played with Penelope when they saw her, made a special space for us to have breakfast and Penelope was welcome to sit with me during dinner. When I had my spa treatment, the staff sat with her so I didn't have to leave her alone. We really enjoyed ourselves here and I would highly recommend the Hotel for people who enjoy traveling with their four-legged buddies. Thank you for a great stay!

My 2 pugs loved the hotel. Very friendly staff, couldn’t do enough for you and your pets. Lovely grounds, large spacious rooms, beautiful spa, excellent food.

Beautiful hotel, pictures don't do it justice. The staff made do much fuss of our dogs, they were thoroughly spoilt, we honestly couldn't have been better looked after. They made us feel like special guests. The grounds are beautiful to walk in and the food in both restaurants was superb quality. I would recommend this hotel to anyone with dogs.
