The “Dog friendly” room (number 11) was really no bigger or better than a Premier Inn. There was black mould on the bathroom tiles and rusty fixings in the shower screen. Mattress was tired and awful pillows. Considering this was £165 b&b Ona Sunday night in January, it was a let down. The only evening food available was a £105 per head fine dining menu, no dogs allowed, so we went to a pub. The only really good bit was the breakfast, which was all table service, great staff& quality. We were served in a separate room, and they brought sausages for the dogs!

From the moment we drove up the drive I had a lovely feeling about the place. My feelings were soon confirmed. It was noticed immediately that my partner was limping due to an imminent hip replacement op. We were helped with our dogs and our luggage. At meal times nothing was too much trouble. All staff went the extra mile. The spa was to die for. As soon as our schedule allows we will be coming back.

Mallory Court was the perfect setting to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday in style with the added bonus that Arthur the Staffy was just as welcome. Our room was spacious and luxurious with the added bonus of opening directly into the extensive gardens and grounds so Arthur could roam to his heart's content. Dogs are not allowed in the lounge or dining room but are otherwise welcome to enjoy the picturesque setting of this fine old house. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food of the highest standard. It isn't cheap but it's well worth the money. We enjoyed it so much we're planning to come back for Christmas.

Fantastic food, excellent staff and lovely hotel. Room was perfect for the dog with direct garden access which meant we didn't have to take him through the hotel every time.

My Husband & I and our Labrador Alfie had a wonderful stay last weekend. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The quality of the food and the tasting menus were sublime and the Spa facilities were first class. Alfie had treats and a bed in the room if we hadn't taken his own, we had a room with doors that went straight out to the garden which was so convenient as we didn't need to walk him through the main lobby. We would definitely go back for another visit.

The hotel and grounds are very lovely but the dogs weren’t allowed in public area which is not what we were expecting at all. It’s a spa hotel but you had to pay extra to use the pool or any facilities. Only the full taster menu was available in the restaurant which was delicious for one night but too much for two nights.

A really fabulous stay for a special occasion with our friends who have a dog. The room was beautiful and all staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, even with the covid-19 restrictions in place. In fact, the restrictions barely impacted on our stay at all so it felt like a proper escape from the real world. The dinner was spectacular! The service was perfectly attentive without being intrusive and the food was delicious. Breakfast the following day was great as they offered us a private room so our friends could bring their pooch down too. The spa and leisure area was also exceptionally clean, and the massage I booked was simply wonderful. Look forward to returning again soon!
