Hotel was lovely and clean staff very friendly and accommodating. The pool was far too cold and sadly there wasn’t a dog bed and bowels in our room for our dog

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Well done to a fabulous team
Perfect location, lovely and peaceful. Everything was spotless and well maintained. My dog loved tearing through the woods but he loved it more back in the hotel where everyone made a fuss of him. The Team here across all functions... reception, F&B, housekeeping... everyone working here were absolutely incredible. So enthusiastic, friendly and helpful despite the extra challenges faced across the industry. My much needed break was absolutely perfect.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Incredibly attentive and friendly staff, to both us and our dog.
Overall this is a beautiful venue, including the grounds as well. I would highly recommend a Superior Room if staying with your dog as the Standard or Classic Doubles are too cosy for anything more than a night (they gave us a free upgrade, very much appreciated). The food is delicious, make sure that you try the pork belly!

Great location with lovely grounds, rooms good, clean and warm. Eating in the bar to keep our dog with us was fine, however breakfast staff didn't seem as good as evening staff, no tea pots, no milk jugs, bit disorganised. Breakfast could be hotter and toast needs improvement! Our 2nd dinner in the bar was chips and bread as they were a chef down! and could only cater for restaurant, no dogs allowed, and we could not travel to a local pub as we had already had a drink. This should have been passed onto people staying earlier, rather than waiting until they arrive to eat!

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Will definitely return, local pubs serving lovely food - all welcomed dog. Also found beach for dog to swim in sea.
Beautiful surroundings, upgraded to supreme room for fridge which was very useful. Staff were all really lovely and made us welcome - our dog was spoilt and he loved his time there.

The location is fabulous and the extensive grounds are perfect for walking your dog, especially during a heatwave as there is fenced in woodland surrounding the hotel that is shady. I had a standard room, which had all the charm of a motorway motel. Bring your own dog bedding and bowls as the hotel does not provide anything in the room for your dog. There wasn't even a little welcome biscuit (although this was provided after I spoke to the helpful duty manager about a few issues concerning my room). The food was uneven: some dishes were delicious; others rather bland and poor. An impoverished wine list had little to offer if drinking wine by the glass. The indoor swimming pool was the perfect temperature but you need to reserve a slot in advance (a good idea as it means it is less crowded). Toiletries in the bathroom uninteresting but the fluffy, large bathroom towels were lovely.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Better communication needs to be followed between pets pyjamas and the hotel .
The hotel has magnificent gardens and grounds, excellent food and swimming facilities. However, though dogs are welcome, the very small size of the actual accommodation room was disappointingly inadequate for our dog. There was also confusion upon arrival in that, despite our advance notice request for appropriate sleeping facility, our granddaughter was not an expected guest.
