Great place to stay if you have a dog. Lovely path round the estate where you can walk your dog. Our room was on the ground floor with easy access to the lawn courtyard. Dogs are allowed in the bar area and you can order either from the bar or restaurant menu. We also got a fantastic room rate from Pets Pajamas which included breakfast and evening meal. Will definitely be back.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? We were welcomed by everyone working here and felt that nothing was too much to ask for.
New Place Hotel is an amazing place to stay at with your dog. The rooms are in a courtyard behind the main house and are really well appointed. Bed is comfortable, shower room is spacious with a really good shower. Food is served in the main house either in the dining room or, if you have your dog with you, in the bar area. There's a good choice of food to choose from in the evening and the breakfast is served buffet style. There is a perimeter path around the property which is excellent for walking your dog within the 32 acres of land. We had a one night stop here recently and we're very impressed with the quality here and the friendliness of all the staff, nothing is too much to ask.

My husband and I went here for a few nights and it was the first time taking our puppa away with us (8mth lab). In short, the food was amazing, the staff were amazing and the main house and grounds were amazing. It's a shame the dog-friendly rooms aren't a little bit bigger as when you have a large pup you need lots of toys, a crate and lots of enrichment and it would be great if they could maybe put some bottles of water in the room and top up the toiletries, but apart from that it was a great stay and we recommend it!

We arrived at New Place Hotel on Friday afternoon for 2 nights with our two dogs. What a wonderful time we had. The room was adequate with a nice bottle of Prosecco awaiting us! The grounds were beautiful we walked our dogs round the estate. Just a shame on the weather! Inside the hotel is amazing all the decor & paintings. Staff were very attentive at all times. What can we say about the food. AMAZING! It’s been a while since I have tasted such tasty food. Breakfast was ample self service. I would definitely return to this beautiful hotel. Thank you all for a lovely weekend.

We returned for another trip having enjoyed the experience so much. Our 2 huskeys love going there.great woodland walks right outside your room. All the staff are amazing friendly and really helpful. The food is fantastic . The grounds and Hôtel are amazing. The spa is perfect. The rooms are perfect for your pooches comfortable but not overly posh so you are not constantly stressing about mess. Also package is exceptional value for money at £75 pppn which includes 3 course a la carte and amazing unlimited cooked breakfast ( which is amazing by the way). We can't wait to return big thumbs up to this venue very rare to come across somewhere that gets everything right.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Until this hotel can get it’s act together i cannot see me staying here again
Stayed at the New Place Hotel for 3 nights in February 2023 for my husband's birthday The hotel and grounds are beautiful, the staff are polite but communication between staff is lacking. We checked in and was given the key to our room. When booking I mentioned that my husband is disabled and is also registered as partially sighted. I also mentioned this when checking in. We were given a room furthest away from the restaurant and bar that is located in the main hotel. My husband had to walk quite a distance to the main hotel in the dark through an unlit gravel car park. When booking we were told that the booking came with a complimentary bottle of fizz, that was not in our room. We had to ask for the bottle. After the first nights stay we had no room service, so we made our own bed. The tea, coffee and milk were not replenished so we had no cup of tea when we woke up the next morning. The central heating in our room was so very noisy all the time, but when it came on at 6am it banged and clattered so badly it woke us up. I did complain about the noise and the hotel moved us to another room for the last night which was much quieter. Also the room that we were moved to was a much nearer walk to the main hotel, on proper made pathways that were lit. Why we could not have been put in that room at the beginning of our stay I do not know as it was so much better for my husband to walk to the main hotel. My last complaint is that we paid for a 3 course dinner with the booking each night. As we had a dog understandingly we could not eat in the main restaurant we had to eat in the bar area. We told the barman that our meal was booked and paid for. He gave us the normal bar menu to order from. It was not until our last night I found out that restaurant menu was a more complexed and nicer menu than the bar menu, and this is what we had paid for. Not the bar menu. As I have said a nice hotel, but communication between the staff need a lot of improvement. As for my husbands birthday treat from me it was spoilt by all of the above that I have mentioned.
