“Dog friendly place for sure. Meals did have to be taken in the bar, but that's fine. Extensive grounds gave the opportunity for a good run around for our lively spaniel before breakfast (& would be a good jogging track of you're into that kind of thing) The accommodation worked well for us, being in " chalet" blocks, away from the building serving meals. We were blessed with dry, of cold, weather, so the journey to eat was not onerous, but I imagine in the pouring rain not quite so much fun. The food was included in our package and was nicely presented and adequate in quantity for small people like us. I guess that a lot of folk would have needed some side orders... Breakfast was standard fare and Tilly (the aforementioned spaniel) got her sausage! We didn't need to make use of the dog wash so that was a good thing. We haven't used one of these on her yet, so wonder what he reaction would be. Maybe another time...”

“Recieved a warm welcome and despite a few blips regarding food as they were really busy with a function, the difficulties were dealt with swiftly and we felt that everything was done to make up for any inconvenience. Dogs were very happy too! Thank you”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our time at New Place. The building and the facilities are amazing.The walk around the grounds is secure and Raven loved being off the lead running laps. The rooms are functional and clean perfect for having your dog with you and not needing to worry about fancy decoration with very comfortable beds. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and were always very willing to offer help if needed.”

“Sadly, I have reached the conclusion that you are always going to be offered the worst room in a hotel complex when travelling with a dog. The room was not part of the main hotel but formed part of an external building offering no privacy-passers by being able to look directly into the room. The room was tired and not inviting. What was shown in pictures was not what was offered. For example, a lawn directly outside your room for your dog to roam. Really? Where was this lawn? On a positive note, dinner was lovely and staff should be highly commended for their attentiveness and friendliness. Breakfast, on the other hand, was underwhelming. Food sitting under hot plates should be banned in my opinion. Overall, a lovely main building but the rest of the complex is not reflective of this.”

“The staff were really great with our puppy Ted, they made him feel very special. For my wife and I we had a really good time with really good food. i only dropped one star as the guys had a few issues on Saturday night with the food times. Overall we would definitely go back as the staff were so good”

“Lovely spot in Hampshire with nice grounds for dogs. Room was lovely and warm and comfortable. Dinner was super on both nights. Breakfast was a disappointment, it’s a buffet style within the restaurant which I could not get to because of my dog. Staff were very helpful in bringing items to me but most elements were cold.”

“Third time we've stayed there which probably says it all. The restaurant is lovely and so are the staff. The gym and swimming pool are a nice addition as is the EV charging. If I have a criticism it is that the breakfasts could be better, but they were more than adequate.”
