Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? They are doing lots of building work and refurbishments so worth taking note. It is a bit quirky so not the usual country house experience.
A great doggy welcome, lovely walks and lots of treats and dog beds around the hotel. Our dog stayed in our room for a few hours while we ate in the restaurant and towards the end a staff member told us our dog was upset. We brought her to the lounge and had desserts and coffee there. It was handled very calmly and well. We had breakfast with her in the lounge the next morning with good service and lovely food. The courtyard rooms have thin ceilings so noises from upstairs kept us and the dog awake for quite a while.

Had a lovely 2-night package break in a hot tub junior suite. The dog was very well catered for with a dog bed and bowls in our room and a welcome pack of treats, a ball & pooh bags. We were allowed to leave the dog in the room whilst eating in the main restaurant, but he was made very welcome in the lounge & bar, where dog beds are available and water provided. Walkies was a breeze as the hotel has extensive grounds and leaving through the back gate you could walk for miles. With regard to the human's comfort, the service was excellent, breakfasts were delicious, afternoon tea was fabulous and dinner was excellent. Didn't use the spa area as we had our own Jacuzzi but did have a look around & it looked great.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Our dog’s welcome box was lovely!
We stayed here 3 nights, thanks to a PetsPyjamas 3 for 2 package. On arrival we were shown to a room outside the main house past a small building site, which bothered my husband. The “comfy” room itself was very nice with doors opening onto a patio, however the room was carpeted and the patio only had flowerbeds no grass, making it pretty unsuitable for our dog to walk freely around in without bringing mud into the carpet. My husband went to speak to a manager about his concerns and she very kindly upgraded us to a junior suite inside the house. As you can imagine this was fabulous, the doors opened out onto a beautiful lawns and our dog was in seventh heaven. The wooden floors put my mind at rest too. The rest of our stay went smoothly and all the staff were absolutely wonderful, nothing was too much trouble and everyone was smiling. We ate in every night and also enjoyed the afternoon tea on my husband’s birthday. Our dog was allowed everywhere we needed her to be, and was also happy in our room when we went for some of our meals. The spa was nice too as were the walks. Thank you.

We had a lovely few days including new year. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating offering a relaxing and comfortable environment. They are very dog friendly either many areas dogs are welcome. Our Labrador enjoyed his stay and the attention very much! He felt included and hardly spent any time in the room on his own.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Definitely would recommend this place for a short stay.
My hoomans bought me here for 3 nights and I had a doggy treat box waiting for me in our room. We were upgraded to a jacuzzi room and my hoomans were very happy! I was allowed to run free through the whole grounds and saw a hedgehog house, some deer (which I did chase) some rabbits and the sheep which didn’t like me running up to their fence. I only wanted to say hello and that they had a lovely place to live. I came home very tired from all the exercise and loved my holiday very much From Hugo the lab aged 2

Have just spent a few days at this lovely hotel and spa. We had such a lovely time, the dogs loved the walks, especially by the river, the garden outside the room and all the attention they got. They were welcome in the terrace restaurant and were always brought a fresh bowl of water when we arrived. We also enjoyed ourselves enormously, the spa, food and rooms were all excellent. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back soon.

We had such a lovely stay at Bishopstrow at the weekend. We had two double comfy rooms next to each other with a terrace, overlooking the lawns. It was an ideal place for our family of two teens and a labradoodle. We loved breakfasting and having dinner on the terrace, swimming in both pools, playing tennis and using the spa and gym. There were lots of country walks straight from the hotel and we didn't really have to use the lead at all. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating and Jasper (the pup) was given a wonderful box of treats, a comfy bed and a bowl and made to feel very welcome. Would definitely return - it was super relaxing and chilled and I would highly recommend. Thank you PetsPyjamas for making it possible to celebrate my birthday in style!
