Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? If you are elderly or have an old doggie I suggest that you request a room with no stairs. We had two floors which necessitated carrying our old doggie up and down.

“Very doggie friendly, beautiful hotel. Excellent service and food.They really do like their doggie visitors ,and cater for them well. Provide quality beds, towel, bowls and welcome pack with treats and poo bags. We shall certainly go back.”

“We arrived to a warm welcome and a room equipped with two deep/comfortable dog beds and a pair of doggie treat boxes. Throughout our stay we were looked after as well as our pups... highly recommend it!”

“Our 2 night break at Bishopstrow was to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. It had proved very difficult to organise a suitable date for 5 of us (3 rooms) until Pets Pyjamas intervened and helped us out considerably. Alison was excellent and managed our requirements and requests in a friendly and professional manner. Communication was first class throughout. The Bishopstrow is very dog friendly as opposed to dog tolerant which makes a huge difference to how relaxed we felt. Our Labradoodle, Lola stayed in our room while we had an excellent meal in the restaurant each night and we were able to bring her down into the lounge once we'd finished. The food and menu choice were very good and breakfast in the lounge was absolutely amazing - fruit, croissants and yogurt to start followed by our individual choice of cooked breakfast. Lola was provided with a good quality bed, bowls, treats, ball and a towel in the room. We enjoyed using the spa, especially the outside hot tub and the spa treatments were unhurried and relaxing. All in all, Pets Pyjamas arranged the perfect break for us. Many thanks.”

“Attentive staff, no request is ignored. Personal touches and the smile on the staff's faces adds to the experience. I wouldn't go there just for spa but we enjoyed the quirky hotel and look forward to try the other hotels in Bath.”

“Everything perfect, delightful room opening onto courtyard, very comfortable bed, charming collection for the dog, stylish interior design and lovely outlook. Even swam in the heated outdoor pool! Faultless.”

“I recently met with family for two nights at Bishopstrow Hotel and Spa. I seldom bother to write reviews but on this occasion I wish to do so because our stay could scarcely have been better. Our party included two very large dogs and a baby. We were made very welcome and nothing seemed too much trouble to accommodate our needs. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the extensive grounds are stunning with plenty of room for the dogs to play off lead (be aware that there may be deer in the grounds). There are excellent walks in the beautiful countryside directly from the hotel. I did not personally use the spa but I believe it is very good. The high points were the meals, (breakfast and supper). They were delicious, beautifully presented and served. There were extensive gluten free options for the member of our party who needed this.”
