We had a fantastic weekend and were made to feel extremely welcome. Pickles received a sausage for breakfast every morning and we were able to dine with her each evening in The Plate Restaurant. Would thoroughly recommend anyone who is looking for somewhere that really does welcome your pooch.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Just to say thank you to the wonderful staff .
This was a really beautiful hotel .very dog friendly our chow chow George really enjoyed all the fuss he got from the very friendly staff. Room was a good size to accommodate two adults and a dog. Room was very clean and lovely decorated. Breakfast was really good and George enjoyed his sausage would definitely recommend this hotel .

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Abbey King room at The Bird in Bath. The room was on the top floor overlooking the Abbey, was spacious with a very comfortable bed and luxurious bathroom (great shower and amenities). There was a dog bed and dog bowl in the room, and our pup was offered his first (!) sausage for brekkie. The human breakfast and afternoon tea was delicious too. All the staff were incredibly kind and professional and made a fuss over our dog. Only negative was that the room smelt strongly of 'dog' (either the previous one or just the combination of all dogs who have stayed in that room probably as there is carpet everywhere). The room, bathroom and hotel in general was very clean, with quirky deco and a cosy feel. We'll be coming back! Thank you PetsPyjamas for the recommendation :)

Would highly recommend this hotel. I was worried as we have a big dog and most people have little fluffy dogs! But the staff were so welcoming and friendly from start to finish. Benson was so relaxed in the room which was a fantastic sign too and was happy to be there. We will be returning for sure. Great location too for walking into Bath. Parking on site too which was great.

Had a fantastic time. Room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and with a great view of the Abbey. Baxter had his own little treat box. Special mention must go the young staff in the Restaurant (dressed in smart black and white). They were excellent - Management, you should be proud of them. Also, Monika, in Reception, who was lovely. We will definitely be back!
