“This hotel is in a beautiful peaceful location overlooking the sea and open countryside. The walks are on the doorstep so cars are not needed. The rooms are large and ground floor.The staff were very friendly to us and our dog and when there was a small problem it was promptly dealt with. The restaurant had special dog tables well spaced so our lab had plenty of room to snooze while we had our meals. Food was excellent, fresh fruit at breakfast and a daily special for dinner.”

“The drive to this hotel, via a long & narrow lane, is well worth the effort. With a lovely poistion overlooking sloping fields with views out to sea, the hotel's location is unspoilt. Our room had these views and patio doors led to a small area to sit & relax taking it all in. Very comfortable bed and decent food added to our appreciation of this place, which is conveniently near good walking paths -great for dog walking. Our dog really loved it here. Adding to the above, all the staff we came across were very friendly and helpful.”

“We enjoyed our stay ,staff were friendly,attentive nothing too much trouble.. Hotel was lovely as our room and food delicious,all set in a beautiful location,peaceful and idyllic loved seeing the deer and the stags . Our dogs loved it too with lovely walks for them and they loved the beach. Would highly recommend Soar Mill Cove will definitely return someday”

“This hotel is brilliant, the views are fantastic and the food delicious. The staff are happy and helpful. Our dog was welcomed and had his breakfast sausage most mornings. We definitely will be going back.”

“Very dog friendly allowed everywhere except lounge. Sausage available at breakfast. Lovely setting. Short walk to cove. Food excellent.”

“Soar Mill Cove welcomed us like family into their comfortable hotel, including the dog. The garden rooms allow the pooch to run about as she pleases, there is a food and water bowl (with a treat!) provided, a dog-and-boot washing station, outside, and plenty of beautiful scenery to roam around in the area. You can also eat in the restaurant, cafe, and bar with the dogs. We had a great time here!”

“Nice and friendly welcome. Extremely pet friendly. Clean and tidy rooms. Great sea views - weather permitting. Good food - but BIG portions - so beware!!! Staff extremely friendly - although a little disorganised in terms of service - a little chaotic taking orders. Overall a good stay.”
