“We booked a short break to celebrate our 60th Birthdays in style. We definitely chose the right place, a beautiful Hotel with stunning countryside views. Food was excellent, the staff were friendly and proffesional and our dog was made most welcome. So relaxing to have so much space on site to walk and excersise your dog, and the agility field was a big hit! Would definately recommend.”

“Our stay was amazing from the service to the food! The amount of detail and into to outside and decor in the inside, was just spellbinding. Loved the art decor with a modern twist. We also loved the the little "Woof box" that was in our room for our fur child, this was very thoughtful and a lovely touch. Thank you so much for having us.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Our only criticism was the over reliance on QR codes and the use of mobile phones dare I say, a modern curse!

“This is a lovely, should I say 'boutique' hotel. We were celebrating a birthday and our 54th wedding anniversary and needed to bring our young Labrador. We chose a 'top end' suite complete with sauna and hot tub. We also wanted somewhere great to have dinner and was not disappointed in the Olio restaurant. Staff were lovely and welcoming. If we could have afforded it, we would have booked a longer stay! However, it is on our list to return one day when we have accumumlated'more pennies'! Our only criticism was the over reliance on QR codes and the use of mobile phones dare I say, a modern curse!”

“Absolutely delighted with our stay ..our first experience with Pets Pyjamas and obviously Homewood ! Well worth the long drive. Exceptional welcome and orientation around the hotel and patio, on a busy sunny Sunday afternoon. Fabulous furnishings, together with comfortable furniture everywhere , interesting array of ornaments wall art and paintings. Colour schemes inspired and lots of quirky little touches! We both totally loved every part of the building the grounds and the spa ! Shall definitely return!”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Whilst we booked a suite with a hot tub, ice tub and sauna in the courtyard the bill was incredibly expensive for two nights. I could travel to a 5 * hotel in Greece all inclusive for the equivalent!

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? It was rather expensive for the quality of the room.

“Interesting hotel, wonderful gardens with a dog training area but the hotel was a little difficult for the disabled guest, at least our room was. Door knobs and heavy doors made it very difficult to get out of our room and lack of grab rails in bath shower is not great. The overhead shower is at one end of the bath the controls the other, the glass shower door opens into the bath making it impossible to get in near the shower, walking down the bath is difficult. However bathroom was immmaculate. Bedroom lighting is not good more a design feature than a good source of light, the bed was like a rock! The corridor to the bedroom and Spa was also the kitchen to dining room corridor very busy with a typical kitchen floor between carpeted area also quite narrow. The food was good to excellent but the same menu each night also very Tapas in style, The staff don't wear uniforms so not always sure if it's a guest or staff member but they are all excellent, I would be proud to be their employer definitely 5Star plus. It was a little difficult with the dog as our room was right down the corridor to the front door but the dog loved all the fuss. Finally we were given a suction grab handle and we were offered a room with shower if they had one but as we only had one night more didn't want the bother of packing etc. On leaving I complained about the bed and was told they could have possibly found a topper. Overall our lack of checking type of room and location was the issue but I'm told all rooms have door knobs not handles. The moral is if you have a disability check with the hotel first. “We thought that Homewood was one of the best hotels that encompasses all of our needs. It has an amazing restaurant, spa, hotel and a selection dog entertainment. We enjoyed room service for both dinner and breakfast. The quality and choice was exceptional so we could relax in our room with the dogs, whilst enjoying delicious food from the restaurant. We will definitely be returning and will recommend to friends as Homewood has everything that you need to have a relaxing and memorable experience as a family.”
