Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Dog bed wax a big small for our greyhound. Luckily we brought hers from home!
Hotel is opposite the beach. Sea view room was worth the extra cost. I believe some rooms have been upgraded. Ours, deluxe king with sea view, was fine but in need of a bit of tlc. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Dogs and owners have to sit in the bar. Car parking very limited at the hotel at £25 extra. We had to use the public car park and one overnight cost £38 but that's Brighton prices.

Staff great food great but torn bedding and wardrobe door hanging off. Noisy room despite double glazed plus severely dated hotel. Can't fault the food at all. Hope they modernise the place soon

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? If you are not happy with your room, asked to be moved to a better one.
We were allocated a tiny, dirty, dated, noisy room, 2nd floor, in an impractical part of the hotel for any Dogs. Over a noisy generator, looking at a wall as our view. It was nothing like any of the photos. We were forced to pay an additional fee for our dog at check out, even though the booking and payment made states include Dogs. We stayed in the room for one night, complained and the reception staff were very apologetic and moved us to a better room for the rest of our stay. The restaurant staff were very good, and they brought our breakfast to us in the lounge, as dogs cannot go in the restaurant. The dog bed provided is a large pillow, and we were given a dog water bowl. Other than this, there is nothing else tailored for a dog. This may be a pets allowed hotel, but this is not dog dog-friendly hotel. No consideration is given for dogs or dog owners. The staff were friendly, the location was excellent, but we will not be returning, this was not value for the money, far more dog accomodating hotels to choose from.

Lovely stay, the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The hotel is in a great location on the seafront close to Brighton pier. Very clean bedroom and facilities. The decor is a bit worn in places but a really lovely atmosphere and a large quiet room.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? I did book very last minute so the price for the hotel was a bit high but I would definitely stay again if I could get a del.
I went to The Old Ship Hotel with my son who is at university in Brighton. We had a lovely time the hotel staff were very friendly the room was basic but clean and the breakfast was really good. The hotel is right on the seafront so very convenient.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? I'd like the refund of the difference from the vouchers. We felt very short changed about this experience as it i.
We were put into a tatty room with single beds pushed together instead of a double, the hotel was very tatty with gaffer tape on carpets everywhere, and it was full of hen and stag parties so it was noisy and not relaxing. The room looked nothing like the picture, and was tired and dated. Additionally, we appeared to have had to pay £60 more than the best available rate on the day simply to have the dog there, for an empty bowl and basic cushion bed. We had put the do not disturb sign on whilst popping down for breakfast before check out, and came back to find the housekeeping had let themselves into our room and started cleaning before our check out time! The only plus was the staff were friendly and helpful.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Mixed service with staff either cool or very friendly
On arrival the receptionist asked us to pay extra for our dog. Had problems communicating paid through pets pajamas. Once his colleague arrived it was all sorted and Kato was given a very warm welcome. We had a room facing sea front on 1st floor perfect for a dog who hates escalators. Dogs welcome in bar but not breakfast room. Seemed everyone had dogs and of course it meant friendships were struck up over the weekend.

With my youngest daughter at Brighton Uni, I opted to stay at The Old Ship Hotel in Brighton so I could bring my dog, Daisy, with me. Lovely old hotel. A little tired in places, but we both enjoyed our stay. Daisy especially enjoyed the dog bed provided! We were both made to feel very welcome. My daughter and I went out for dinner, opting to leave Daisy in the hotel room for just under 2 hours. The hotel staff kept an ear out for her, and she was happy to sleep while we were out. All in all, a lovely stay. Thank you.
