We and our dogs were made very welcome by the lovely staff, especially Ellie, Chris and Craig. The dogs stayed in our rooms with us, with beds, bowls and a toy provided. There's a lovely field nearby where the dogs could run about. We were made very welcome and highly recommend this hotel.

Eastbury Hotel is extremely Dog Friendly which I cannot fault (Best Dog Friendly Hotel). The Staff are also very friendly and helpful. The Jubliee Tea was excellent and a lovely end to our stay. The problem is that a vegetarian menu of 5-star standard was promised for evening meals. A recent change of head chef (not informed) meant a choice of Raw Cauliflower, Vegetable Soup or a plate of vegetables. I would not say it was 5-star dining like all their brochures showed. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Thank goodness Sherborne had good vegetarian restaurants. There was a problem with the billing in that we were charged for our Pre-booked (via PetsPyjamas) three-course meal (part of the Barking Britain Package). We were also unaware of the £40 per person limit which should be stated at the booking. After some discussion, the billing error was corrected by the hotel. All in all we enjoyed our stay and so did Reba our dog.

The hotel was lovely for a short stay. It was ideal for those visitors with dogs and they made an extra effort with the jubilee. Few issues with booking and confirmations that I had to resolve but overall a nice experience and would recommend. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Well located in the town of Sherbourne, the staff are all very friendly and it certainly is a full doggy friendly hotel with dogs allowed at tables in the restaurant if they are well behaved and/or on leads. Our room, Rowan, was very comfortable, though a larger, wifi-enabled TV would be appreciated. Food was very good on the three nights we dined, though there was no alteration to the dishes/catch of the day which would be a small improvement for regular diners. Lovely grounds and plenty of parking.

Myself, my wife & Tuco the chihuahua had a lovely break at the Eastbury Hotel. Breakfasts and dinners both first class and the staff all very helpful and friendly. This was our second visit and we will return again. Our room was comfortable and really pleasant ( a potting shed) with every facility we could wish for. Very doggy friendly and welcoming. Can recommend !

We had booked the Potting shed Parsley for a 2 day break with our working cocker spaniel Alfie for our anniversary. We had a lovely time nothing was too much trouble and everyone was very tolerant and kind to our young dog who really wasn't used to staying in hotels . They provided sausages for his breakfast and chicken and rice in the evening it was so lovely to be able to take him into the restaurant as we wouldn't have wanted to leave him in the room alone he would have been anxious and worried . They even provided a dog bed ,biscuits and a toy for him . The staff were lovely and friendly the food very good and the garden beautiful. We would definitely stay again .

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome with Mavis, our cute as a button Beagle, being given the star treatment. We were staying in the cottage which is part of the same building but has its own entrance, private enclosed garden with hot tub and is fully self catered with breakfast taken at the hotel. Mavis had her own bed, bowls and treats as well as a welcome letter that detailed where she could go and some house rules. There was a lovely welcome pack from the property with some local goods and bread, cereal, milk etc. The hotel is very dog friendly and not only allows dining with your dog but also has a dog menu with dishes they will prepare for you - Mavis loved the chicken and rice which was served at the same time as our meal. Great spa - small but a sense/feel of privacy and lovely gardens. The location is great for those arriving by train, just a 10 minute walk from the Sherborne station and plenty of walks on the doorstep. Sherborne is very dog friendly with plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops all welcoming four legged customers

Quite a unique hotel in terms of being dog friendly. It’s so nice to find a hotel you can go to and feel totally at home. Water bowls a plenty and your dog can eat with you in the restaurant which is very unusual. Whilst they only allow 2 dogs at evening sitting at breakfast time when we were there we counted six excluding our’s. Hotel is very clean and the area is also very dog friendly and I would recommend a visit.
