A surprise birthday visit for my husband and our dog, we had such a great stay. The staff were so friendly and the amenities brilliant. Such amazing grounds for us to walk in and explore. Tobi was in his element running and jumping like a horse lol!. The staff were very friendly we felt so at home. We will definately be back!

A really lovely stay at this beautiful hotel. The grounds, the staff, the food, were excellent and very dog friendly, including treats and a very tasty sausage for Rufus at breakfast. Delightfully spacious room and large en suite.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The only negative was that a large group of guests were very drunk and kept us awake
We had a wonderful stay at Barnett Hill - a beautiful hotel and grounds just perfect for dog walks. The hotel staff were also really great - super friendly and they could not do enough to make sure we had a comfortable stay.

Arrived and there was a large carpark with nice sized spaces. Check in went smoothly and our little dog was offered a treat. We were in a courtyard room. There was a dog bed and bowls in the room and a cute tin of treats for the dog. The room was modern. We had a nice bathroom but no bath just a shower. We are in the bar and had some drinks. Before that we did take a walk in the grounds. In the morning we had a very nice breakfast. We would visit this hotel again.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? See above Nina the bar and restaurant manager was suberb as I already said, worth saying again.
Great grounds, cosy library room and bedrooms, nice and spacious. There was good and bad here as always. The bar and restaurant manager, Nina was superb. Made out stay tbh. And we told her as kuch. The other stuff, were no engaged nor that interested tbh. Think Faluty Towers.... Restaurant closed Monday to Thursday - silly as we have Ā£40 to spend per person. Ok, use the bar, terrible food choice on the menu and even worse food! The afternoon tea was good - especially the scones. Don't say "Spa" when you mean room (only massage rooms) it's misleading of the hotel. So overall , a mixed bag. Yet a cosy stay and it worked well for us. So satisfied. This place could be great. Yet obviously something happening behind the scene business strategy wise.

I had a 3 night break with my furry companions at Barnett Hill. I highly recommend this beautiful place in the Country. Comfortable clean stylish bedroom, tasty food. Staff are so friendly they made the dogs and I at home. Visually stunning grounds. I also had a much needed massage with Lisa who is excellent

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? We will certainly be going again.
A lovely hotel with beautiful gardens. The staff we very helpful nothing was too much trouble. My husband and I are both disabled and everyone gave us help if we needed it. The dog had a great time too with lots of attention.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? We actually left a day early because it was so unrelaxing refuse to spend more money in the terrible bar.
I stayed in the only room available which was a ā€œCosy Doubleā€ and really was far too small for us. Dog beds are not luxurious, our small cocker spaniel couldnā€™t even fit on it, bowls were shallower than a plate and the tap in the bathroom (which isnā€™t a separate bathroom) was positioned too close to the sink to be able to get a bowl underneath. Aside from the ridiculous room, the hotel doesnā€™t actually let dogs in to the dining room (lovely oak panelled room with roaring fire), instead you need to be in the adjoining bar which is more similar to an airport lounge where most of the seating is around low bar/coffee tables making it the worst place to enjoy a Ā£40 steak. The hotel is set on 26acres but itā€™s not easy to walk around the property. Thankfully it is located near some wonderful walks, if only these were signposted or even drawn on the map they give out. And once youā€™ve been for your walk, good luck trying to wash your dog down, no outside shower/hose and the bedroom shower is a fixed head, so no chance of giving those paws a good clean. You could try lifting the dog into the sink but itā€™s actually shallower than the dog bowls.
