Did you feel your stay was good value for money? Yes

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Not as dog friendly as we had hoped for. The area around the hotel was however very dog friendly.

“This was a lovely hotel but I would not class it as dog friendly more dog tolerant. We knew we couldn't take our dog into the restaurant but you couldn't eat your meal in the bar and the lounge was too small for two couples with dogs to eat in there at one time. The only alternative was to either leave your dog in your room, which is unfamiliar to them, or have room service, which was not ideal. We were lucky as our dog was happy to stay in the room but others might not be so lucky. The staff was friendly and helpful and the the food was top notch. We would come back but not with our dog.”

“The garden rooms are great for dogs and their humans. Luxury accommodation tucked away in a garden with lots of shade and interest.”

“We recently stayed at the Beechwood Hotel for our first holiday with our two dogs, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel at ease, understanding that we were a bit nervous about our first trip with our pets. They truly went above and beyond to ensure both we and our dogs felt comfortable. The hotel is genuinely dog-friendly. The staff even discreetly checked on our dogs from afar while we enjoyed our meals, which meant a lot, especially since our dogs can be quite anxious in new environments. It gave us peace of mind knowing they were okay, allowing us to fully enjoy the excellent food. Both dinner and breakfast were superb, the homemade blackberry and lychee sorbets were particularly delicious. We stayed in the Garden Spa Room; the room was spacious and well-appointed, providing plenty of space for both us and our dogs. The thoughtful layout and cozy ambiance made it a relaxing retreat. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional service from the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. The owners should be incredibly proud of the team they've assembled at the Beechwood Hotel. Overall, I can’t recommend this hotel enough, especially if you're traveling with dogs.”

“We had a wonderful stay in this fabulous hotel. Quirky, stylish, great staff & quality of food way beyond our expectations. It was my birthday & they provided a small fruit cake & a sparkling candle!”

“This was our first booking with PetsPyjamas , and definitely won't be our last. Our stay st The Beechwood Hotel was fabulous from start to finish. Highly hospitable staff made us feel welcome the minute we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble for us or our dog. Highly recommend staying a night or two.”

“Staff very friendly. Very nice room. Hotel is well located for visiting the coast. Check-in and check-out were efficient. My only negative was that the dinner we ordered was a bit underwhelming and our bathroom was very cold.”
