“Honest John review - sit tight let’s start! The good - Restaurant/bar staff excellent 5* service ! Food - really nice and we tried most of the courses! Location - fantastic beach just across the road The Bad - Hotel is very dated, and in need of a major refurbishment so don’t expect what you pay to reflect on the decor / rooms The Ugly - i had a call telling me dogs were no longer allowed in the hotel.. I was shocked as I had spoken to them atleast 3 times over the months whilst our travel date came around and this hasn’t been raised also this is why I booked … when we arrived there were loads of dogs big ones too even though they made out because we had a smaller dog that’s why we could now stay - it was all very confusing ..!! My recommendation to the hotel is to have a separate pets allowed dining room as allowing dogs was the main reason we booked and to be fair all the dogs were well behaved so please give the humans a standard table in a normal dining setting”

“This hotel is a little slice of old fashioned loveliness. It's not flash - but the rooms are comfortable and the service & food is excellent. The location couldn't be better. It's just 5 minutes walk from the beach and there are views of the bay from the garden. My one critique is that the hotel and bedrooms could do with a little renovation in places.”

The room didn't have space for 2 adults and 2 labradors , I asked at reception if I could add to my £250 I had already laid out for an upgrade but they said they were full, although there was still rooms identical to mine on Booking.com at £110 . “Due to the current pandemic which exists unknown to PetsPyjamas we have not been to Knoll House hotel as expected. For at least 4 weeks now we are still awaiting an alternative booking for us in September subject to the crises being resolved.”

“My partner and I wanted to visit Dorset for the first time over boxing day. As most dog owners know finding a pet friendly hotel can be a nightmare but Pets Pyjamas took the stress out of our hands and at an amazing price. They found us an ideal location and little Bee was very very happy at the hotel and the staff were amazing too,”
