We stayed one night in a Coach House room (pet friendly). The room was lovely - spacious with lovely countryside views. The only negatives with the room were the shower temperature fluctuating significantly and a grubby TV remote. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both were excellent. All the staff were very friendly and genuinely welcoming of dogs. If you do stay in Autumn or Winter I would advise taking a good torch for night-time dog walks as the grounds are very dark once you move away from the buildings. Would love to stay here again.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Thanks to Alex for the beach recommendation, and Ebony for making such a fuss of our dogs at breakfast, they loved their sausages!
We (2 dogs 2 humans) made a last minute booking to stay 1 night, and what a great decision. Beautiful house and grounds and the best customer service. We were all made to feel very welcome, had a fantastic dinner, great night's sleep and would definitely recommend it.

We stayed i this Hotel end of March. We booked the Hotel via Pet Pyamas website as we wanted a weekend away with our dog. We got attracted to the Hotel as it looked traditional and luxurious despite the high cost (200 pounds per night including breakfast). Unfortunately, the Hotel was not as good as we hoped. We had room 4 in the dog-friendly Coach House. Yes, the room was spaces and dog bowels were provided. However, there was no fridge and no coat hooks. Also, the door to the patio was difficult to open and close and will need ease and adjustment. The bathroom was small and had mold on the rubber of the shower door. There was no toilet brush. In regards to breakfast, it was possible to order a Cafe latte which was great but unfortunately, there was no cheese or ham although mentioned on the breakfast menu. The nice touch was that our dog got a sausage from the staff every morning.

Wonderful Night away. The room we stayed in with Libby (our dog) was spacious and comfortable. The staff at the hotel were friendly, chatty and made us all very welcoming. The food was exceptional. It was a Birthday Gift for an overnight stop. Delightful. Highly recommended.

Great 3 night stay - we had a huge junior suite in the coach house just a short walk from the main building. A warm welcome for us and the dogs. Great food at breakfast & dinner and a sausage for the dogs each morning. Happy to recommend this hotel as very dog friendly.

We had a fantastic stay for my boyfriends birthday. We didnā€™t want to leave our boys behind and cannot fault Coed Y Mwstwr. The dogs were treated as good as the humans. From afternoon doggy tea, to muddy walks and sausage breakfasts as well as lots of fuss and love all around. Simon was fantastic and looked after us so well. Loving the dogs names of Elwood and Jake also.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? It might be nice to tell those booking how much they had for dinner before arriving, you might think of increasing this to cover a starter or dessert. Our room didnā€™t have a dog bed which was ok for us as we brought our own crate but others would need it.
We had a lovely short break at the Coed-y-Mwstwr with young bouncy vizsla, called Nellie. The room was excellent for all our needs and the fluffy dog toy was a nice touch. The meals were superb and the staff were really dog friendly, they advised us to come a bit later to dinner to avoid a possibly noisy party. Would definitely return.

We had a lovely one night stay at Coed-y-Mwstwr with our two border collies. We stayed in the coach house, providing a ground floor room for easy access for our 14 year old collie. Staff were amazing and everyone we spoke to had dogs of their own. Dogs were definitely the centre of attention and made very welcome!! Food was amazing and served for us in the lounge so the dogs could join us. At breakfast the dogs even got their own sausages. Weā€™ll definitely be back
