“After two cancellations by us, Ballathie Country House was worth waiting for. The riverside room was a real treat for us and Flora to awake to a view of the Tay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We even had a personal dining table to eat with our dog, without feeling an outcast. Pets Pyjamas really did us well with this holiday. Thanks to all concerned.”

“We have just spent 2 nights at the Ballathie hotel with our 2 dogs on dinne4, bed and breakfast basis. The food was exceptional, staff very friendly and professional. We stayed in the annex building, the Riverside, the room was spacious, clean, comfortable with a balcony overlooking the River Tay. Lots of grounds to walk the dogs in which made a very relaxing stay. There is an option to take dogs into the hotel to relax and eat if required.”

“After just spending two nights at Ballathie country house I thought I’d give my overall thoughts. Firstly there is no Wi-Fi at the dog friendly part of the estate which is away from the main hotel. There was no welcome pack in room to review any nearby local, things to do or things around the hotel. We were disappointed to learn the seating area for eating alongside your dog was under a stairwell which I thing is not ideal and is limited for space which we found out when we were phoned by reception to ask if we could come to breakfast without dog which was the whole point of the stay. Unfortunately due to the issues above we would not stay here again or ever recommend this hotel. This is no slight on the staff who were perfect but I’d suggest the management of the hotel needs to look a bit better if they want this to continue to be a successful hotel.”

“We had dinner, bed and breakfast here at the beginning and end of our holiday. The grounds are beautiful, and great for "walkies". Our room was at Riverside, with a small balcony, which was perfect for our dog to sit and watch the world. Food here was superb, and my gluten-free requirements were taken seriously. Staff were a nice balance of friendly and efficient. Couldn't fault anything on both our stays.”

“From beginning to end we had a great time at Ballathie Country House Hotel, the room was spacious and comfortable super king bed, food was excellent and the staff couldn't do enough for us, we are planning to return for another break.”
