Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Canā€™t believe breakfast wasnā€™t included in the bill of Ā£500 for 3 nights it was an extra Ā£24 each day for 2 people
Lovely dog friendly country pub with friendly staff .Stayed in pods in rear of garden but too close together not a lot of privacy .Other than that a lovely short stay holiday . Did t agree with automatic 12% service charge on the food bill that should be discretionary.

We stayed in one of the self-contained cabins behind the pub. Very quiet and comfortable, both for us and our dog. Accommodation had AC, and the usual facilities which were good. Food in the pub was also very enjoyable. We would definitely recommend a visit.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? I think a basic provision of water in the rooms would be a good start
The staff were lovely and made us feel welcome, the pub situation was lovely, settle among beautiful gardens. The luxury wood cabins are wooden pods/ units, we were not sure the word 'luxury' was justified... they were very hot, several pods clumped in one place leaving little privacy...the air con did not work, so we could not stay in the pod for any amount of time and the outside space around the was poor... the fridge did not work and no water in the rooms was provided, the additional price charged for dogs in PJs was not reflected, no extras were included for the dogs. The food was expensive but not great, clearly microwaved judging by the dry hard cooked food.....

The room was great, we were made to feel very welcome as was our pet! The breakfast was delicious and the bar was a great place to unwind after a day out exploring.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Phone signal a bit hit and miss. We couldn't get the smart tv to show any of the apps, but we used a laptop instead, would have been a nice touch to provide bottled (tap) water in the (welcomed!) room fridge.
The staff were very helpful, fun and friendly. The rooms are cosy, well equipped, cabins in the garden. Although the garden isn't enclosed, as described, if you have a dog who escapes you would need to be on alert, there are patches of grass for that bedtime wee! Lockey, our cockapoo, was made to feel welcome and had many sausages over our 3-day visit. There are treats on the bar and lots of water bowls dotted around inside and outside. The pub is in a handy location for a great walk along the Meon Valley. It's convenient for a short trip to Winchester or Petersfield, and everyone in the village was very friendly. Great little village shop. The food was delicious, and in his words, my husband said that the 'beef burger was the best he has ever tasted!' Would recommend and we will return!
