Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? 8 course taster menu was very good and served professionally with very good knowledge. By super waitress we cannot remember her name but she is part time student who lives in Wark and is a farmers daughter. A real credit to Battlesteads!
Fantastic location the staff were all amazing and the food was scrumptious. We were given the same table for each of our 4 meals there. Which allowed our Lab pup to settle into routine nicely under the table. The suite chalets were enormous with fantastic bathroom. we will definitely stay there again. Recomendable!!

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Don’t forget visits to Hadrian’s wall close by
Warm welcome, excellent 8 courses taster menu on the first night, included in the booking (We had not realised that but were pleasantly surprised) dog welcome. The room itself wasn’t perfect, ( funny shower, and not enough place to hang clothes, like a hook for outdoor coats would have been nice) great walks for humans and canines near by. altogether a very nice place to stay

Hotel was lovely. Very friendly staff. The lodge room was beautiful... spacious and well equipped. Lots of lovely walks near by. Lupa thoroughly enjoyed her stay and the little gift bag left for her. Will definitely think about a return visit.

All the staff were very friendly and the food was superb. There was even a settee which doubled up as a dog bed. We would definitely stay again if we were in Northumberland.

Wark is in a quiet, attractive village with a beautiful river setting. Plenty of walks from the hotel without needing a car. Hotel staff friendly and efficient throughout. Hotel is spacious and well laid out. The lodge we stayed in was a pleasant large room with a high ceiling and good sized en-suite; it was clean and had everything we needed - perfect, especially if you have a dog with you. Food in the restaurant was always tasty and efficiently served. We were in a separate dining area as we had a dog but never felt cut off - it suited us as not everyone loves dogs! The Pets Pyjamas 'package' price was a significant discount on normal rates and represented good value for money. No complaints at all - just perfect for us.

Very good quality accommodation in the lodge, huge bed, room & bathroom! Fridge In room useful as we feed Dolly raw food. The 8 course tasting menu was fantastic & the price compared with other sites or the hotel direct was £150 cheaper with the taster menu included which is £60 per person normally. We will be returning as soon as possible
