Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Certainly won’t be staying again. When fed back issues they weren’t taken seriously

“From the moment we arrived they seemed very disorganised, asking for payment again. Dinner we were asked for payment again. The menus shown on their website are not the dinner menu shown on the website (all meat mains apart from the burger excluded). Pool full of swimming classes/day spa customers so it’s to crowded to get a proper swim”

“We had a wonderful 2 nights stay here. The staff were so welcoming, the grounds are beautiful and we really enjoyed it. Our dog was very welcome and the only place she could not go was the pool/spa, which is understandable. It is fine to leave your dog in the room if you want to use those facilities, although we prefer not to leave our dog and we could hear dogs barking in other rooms who were clearly distressed at being left. The food was excellent. We stayed on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis and the meals were in the bar restaurant. It was a very relaxed area and the food was excellent. It was a more limited menu for the dinner, bed and breakfast guests but you could pay a supplement to order from the wider menu. It would be nice if there was an option to eat in Farmer, Butcher, Chef restaurant with a deduction from the bill for the dinner inclusion in our stay - we didn't ask if this was possible. Really great place, we will go back!”

“Staff are very helpful in all areas of the hotel. Room was well appointed. Breakfast was adequate but food generally took a while to arrive. Plenty of things to do and see on the 12,000 acre estate and Chichester harbour is well worth a visit. Overall, highly recommended. The Food offering at the Bar & Grill for evening meals is somewhat limited but of a good standard.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and were made very welcome by the staff from the outset, as were our two dogs. There is a very relaxed and friendly ambiance at the hotel and it is absolutely dog friendly. Our Garden Room was ideal for the digs. We enjoyed our meals in the Farmer Butcher Chef restaurant and had delicious meals served by super staff. A lovely short break.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The drinks especially were quite pricey. The meal was expensive too but was of very high quality but the drinks were nothing special to cost as much as they did., I.e. £7.80 for two glass bottles of Diet Coke!

“Everything at the hotel was perfect. From a very welcome greeting for both us and the dogs to the exceptional food. The room was equipped with dog bed, bowls, towels for the dogs, treats and poo bags. The room was good for humans too with quality toiletries and robes. The dogs could go everywhere in the hotel except the pool. There were large water bowls everywhere as it was hot when we went. Our room was quiet and near a small courtyard where we could go first thing and last thing for ablutions. The Farmer Butcher Chef restaurant was welcoming and the food was to die for. Breakfast in the bar and grill was also very good quality. Both restaurants made a fuss of our two border collies.”

“Very enjoyable stay at the hotel with my small dog. All staff very friendly. Dog bed, bowl, treats and poo bags provided. Dogs allowed in restaurants. Breakfast included.”

“We stayed here 3 nights. They are very welcoming to our pooches and my Monty was spoiled rotten! The beds are very comfy, and they provided a dog bed and bowl too. The two restaurants are very welcoming to dogs, and the extensive grounds are beautiful. I’m booking this hotel again!”
