Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? We did not have a pet travelling with us so that’s why it was no but evidently clear they were welcomed as many other guests had their dogs with them.
Great service throughout, room was great , restaurant great value and service and a superb breakfast next morning, we were given full access to the pool and all of the other spa amenities. Thank you

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The only real downside of the hotel is that because Goodwood has so many events taking place the hotel has a huge car park around it. You have to walk beyond the car park to exercise your dog. For an elderly dog this was not ideal. The food was excellent but expensive. The swimming pool, steam rooms, sauna and jacuzzi were really lovely.
The Goodwood Hotel is a very comfortable place to stay where dogs are welcome everywhere apart from the Health club and spa. Unlike some hotels we were able to leave Milo in our room whilst we were using the pool or eating in one of the restaurants. The food in the Farmer Butcher Chef restaurant was fantastic. We also had a very good meal at the Kennels.

Hi, we booked to stay in a Garden Room for 2 nights as we were taking my little dog. On arrival we were told that our booking was only for 1 night as this was the only availability for a Garden Room and apparently PetsPyjamas had been advised of this. The price for one night was the same as we had been quoted and paid for 2. An error maybe, but not on our part, and noone had contacted us to say otherwise before our arrival. We ended up staying in a standard twin room with no access to a garden for the dog. which meant walking across the hotel grounds each time to toilet her (including during the night). The hotel iteself was clean and tidy however the grounds surrounding it were overgrown and untidy...the view from our room was one of overgrown weeds (see below). Also, Rat bait stations were placed outside the Spa and Restaurant area - not a great sight. Overall, a disappointing start to our stay which affected our overall enjoyment.

The Goodwood Hotel provided lovely accommodation and facilities for our stay over the weekend. Both restaurants were very dog-friendly and the staff were great with my German Shepherd dog. The hotel provided a lovely bed, towel, treats, bowl and doggy bag for him and wrote a custom note wishing my boyfriend a happy birthday. The room was well-appointed (Nespresso machine!) and good-quality toiletries were provided. We were able to leave the dog in the room with a 'dog in room' sign on the door so staff wouldn't go in while we were out enjoying the spa and gym. Would definitely stay again!

Great food, lovely grounds, good pool and hot room facilities. Lovely dog treats, bowl and bed for our pup. I want to get our Billy a bed just like theirs! He loved it. They also provided a fridge on request! We missed out on going to Farmer Butcher Chef restaurant as it was fully booked. Had we been made aware of its high demand Roast Dinners, we would have done so! We have Dinner included for the other restaurant (where breakfast is too) so all good plus there was a pub 5 mins drive (20 mins walk but no paths on road to it) that filled the roast lunch void. Only disappointment was with Pet Pyjamas booking as we were led to believe we were getting a double room but in fact got a twin room. Not something that can be changed when there as the dog-friendly rooms are limited (as they are ground floor only).

The staff were excellent and made you and the dogs feel very welcomed The food is excellent We stayed in a garden room which was a bit dated - we both had a really bad night's sleep, the winter quilt was not appropriate for the weather, aircon minimum of 19 degrees made the room incredibly hot, especially with 2 dogs in the room We did not stay for the 2nd night as planned The preparation work for the Goodwood Festival of Speed event the following week meant Goodwood Park was closed which restricted where we could walk the dogs and we were not told about this before we arrived. The swimming pool was closed for maintenance and again we were not told Outside seating areas were closed for marquee construction in preparation for the following week which was a shame as the weather was really good We tried room service but no one answered Treatment room excellent We eat in the Farmer butchers chef - food and service was great but when we came to settle our bill we were charged the full price and no account was taken for us being on a bed, breakfast & dinner tariff luckily we noticed this on our bill and it was adjusted accordingly. Unfortunately, we would not stay there again. But we would eat there again especially as their staff are very friendly and helpful.

Overall a pleasant stay. Hotel needs a little updating as it looks tired. I originally booked this stay for the swimming pool and spa. I was sent an email after booking saying the swimming pool is closed. The day before I was due to arrive, I received a phone call from the hotel asking if I want to book the restaurant which I did. I informed them I knew that the swimming pool was closed and asked if I could use the spa facilities but was told that they were under renovation as well. If I had known this, I would have cancelled my stay and booked somewhere else.
