“Had a great three night stay at The Swan, lovely hotel, cozy bar area. Dogs allowed in the bar for lunch and dinner and in the restaurant for breakfast. All staff friendly and efficient. Dog friendly, treats and dishes in room on arrival. Super clean and comfy room amd public areas. Food high quality, well cooked and presented. Nice patio area and small garden out the back. Situated in the lovely village of Wedmore, close to Cheddar, Wells, Glastonbury etc. Absolutely loved it here. We will certainly be back. Two small comments, limited parking in hotel car park but parking generally available outside the hotel. Also no receptacle for dog waste, had to walk up the road to find a bin, not a problem for us but could be for some. Thanks to all staff for making our stay so memorable.”

“We enjoyed our stay at The Swan so much. Staff really helpful and friendly especially towards our dog Freddie. Food was amazing and even gave Freddie a sausage for breakfast. Can't praise this hotel enough. Will definitely be back! Thank you”

“Don’t usually do reviews but would like- from us and our two dogs- to heartily recommend The Swan for its dog friendliness, excellent vegetarian food and comfortable accommodation. Everything needed for our two day break was on hand. So much so, that we will seek out other hotels in this group and would not hesitate to return.”

“The Swan is a truly lovely place to stay. firstly I have to praise the staff for being so kind, friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Everyone welcomed our little dog and made a real fuss of her. Our room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. we ate in the bar area and the food was great. Our breakfast that was included in the room rate was A* A wonderful place to stay ❤️”

“Archie had a lovely time at the swan. We were upgraded free to a large room which was very big and massive bed. Can't fault it at all. Could have stopped for several days”
