“Our visit to Timbrells Yard, our first, was a wonderful surprise. We have stayed in dog friendly hotels before but Timbrells far exceeded our expectations. We (2 adults and one poochon) were treated with great and friendly service and our stay was seemless with no issues at all. The location on the Avon is spectacular and the sunny weather made our stay very pleasant. I'd recommend this hotel strongly although visitors need to bear in mind that the hotel has only 5 car parking spaces (although there are 2 public car parks very nearby).”

“Cheerful and helpful staff. Delicious food lovely variety of vegetables though I would have liked more than one fish dish especially as we were staying for three nights. The position of the hotel was on the edge of the river so perfect for coffees and drinks in the sunshine. Our dog loved the walks by the river and nearby canal, and easy walks for us "oldies". Timbrell's Yard is a perfect place to visit Bradford on Avon and hopefully we will be able to return in the near future.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Staff in the restaurant were fantastic.

“We were in one of the mezzanine rooms, the view over the Avon was lovely. My only comment would be, compared to other rooms we have stayed in these rooms are quite cramped when occupied by two people and a Sussex Spaniel size dog. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, the food was of a high standard. The area around the hotel is great for a leg stretching walk with one's dog, with a nice walk down to the Kennet and Avon canal, mostly on well maintained foot paths.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Not sure what a ‘Woof Box’ is, as our dog never saw one.

“Chose this hotel as a halfway break on our way to Pembrokeshire. The staff were very welcoming, the room was spacious and comfortable. We chose to eat in the restaurant, we were not disappointed the food was lovely. Good value.”
