“Oh what a fabulous pub, amazing food, wonderful caring staff, beautiful views, and amazing room (with the most luxurious bath tub I’ve ever been in!). Shame we were there for only one night.”

“Welldiggers Arms was very welcoming and very attentive during our stay. We had a lovely time, the place was tidy and comfortable. I am giving it 3 stars as we found the food a bit bland”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? There was no sign of Pets Pyjamers involvement in our booking. When we went to Bognar with your company there were toys, snacks a breakfast sausage. A little disappointed.

“The Welldiggers Arms is in a beautiful location with views over the South Downs. The service was very good as was the accommodation. There is a bus stop next to the hotel. The beer garden is very well kept. The menu is very good and we enjoyed the food. Our two Yorkshire Terriers were welcomed into every part of the hotel.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Extremely charming little place & Petworth is a lovely quintessential English small town to wander around.

“We stayed for two nights at the Welldiggers arms. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The food and the accommodation were exactly as expected from the previous reviews. Accommodation, clean, tidy & cosy. The bar and restaurant area was welcoming & the dinner & breakfast menus had everything to accommodate all taste buds! From poached eggs, salmon & smashed avocado on sourdough, right through to steaks & posh pub grub, with tempting puds to finish your meal off. Our cockapoo had all his needs catered for & the staff all made him feel extremely welcome & part of the family. Finding a boutique style hotel, to allow you to take your best four legged friend, can be tricky, but the Welldiggers have got the balance just right with this one. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the Welldiggers Arms & we can’t wait to return!”
