The Fish Hotel exceeded all of our expectations - the staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us and the location is beautiful. The hotel is on a large estate with plenty of space to run around for children and dogs, a dog agility course, woodland playground and small lake with a pedalo free for use. There was also a lovely terrace with very warm heaters but just in case you are still chilly there are blankets available too. We really enjoyed relaxing here in the evening whilst our niece (who is 2) ran around with our 2 dogs. We booked a terrace room which was very spacious (a queen size bed and double sofa bed for our niece) and still plenty of space to move around. After a few cocktails in the bar, we were able to go back to our room in the evening, put our niece to bed and enjoy a few extra drinks on the terrace which again, had blankets for warmth. There was also an egg chair on each terrace which we thought was a lovely touch. The breakfast was delicious as were the pizzas we had on the terrace for our first night and you could walk to broadway in 30mins. When staying in the Cotswolds we typically stay on the high street in Broadway but as we drove away from the Fish Hotel we were already checking out the website for availability for our next visit...given the short distance to Broadway this would definitely be our preference for all future stays!

We had the perfect stay at The Fish. Super dog friendly, bed, bowls, treats and a toy were waiting in the room. Nothing was off limits for the dog apart from the restaurant but you can eat off the same menu in the bar which was gorgeous. It's all the little touches that make this place special, free treats for the humans, a boot room, doggy bath. It was amazing and we will be back.

We stayed for 1 night in The Stables. The hotel is in a beautiful setting with lots of grounds to explore with your dog. We and our dog were made to feel very welcome. Very thoughtful dog gift and treats were left for him. Wonderful dog friendly place to stay!

We only stayed 2 nights, but I wished we had stayed longer! This hotel is wonderful and SO dog friendly. Everything about the place is carefully thought out, especially when it comes to bringing a dog and for outdoor lovers. There is a boot room with a plentiful supply of dog towels, a dog wash (which is outside, but has lovely warm water to wash your dog with), there are print outs of detailed walking maps/routes that take you to other villages with the footpaths starting from the hotel, and all the staff are wonderful and friendly. Our dog Alfie got a warm welcome (as did we), and he was given a sausage at breakfast time and always given a bowl of water and a floor mat to lie on when we were in the bar/dining areas. He also had bowls, a toy and some treats waiting for him in the room. We loved it here and we would go back in a heartbeat. Definitely recommend doing the Broadway Tower walk from the hotel, views were fabulous. 'Number 32' cafe in broadband also made us very welcome for lunch and was super dog friendly.

Cannot fault our stay at the fish hotel. We were in the Barnes and Wallis suite. Great size, lovely bath and log burner and the bed was heaven! They really have thought of everything, with baths for the dogs, boot washing stations etc and staff were very attentive. Food was delicious too. We’ll be back.

We loved our stay at The Fish Hotel. We stayed in the Barnes Wallis suite, it was beautiful and I appreciated the little touches like the treats left for Dexter and the mini bar extras. The wood burning stove was a lovely addition however too the weather was hot for us to enjoy. The staff made an effort to remember our surname throughout the trip and even brought out sausages for Dexter when he joined us for breakfast in the bar area. We will definitely return!

The staff were all brilliant, the room was lovely and the views and scenery were spectacular. It is built on a very steep hill so difficult if you're not very fit but the views make the hills worthwhile. This is the most dog friendly hotel we've ever been to. Not only was there a bed and dog bowls in the room but also some dog treats and a toy. In the bar they brought 2 sausages and a water bowl each day for breakfast for our dog and the staff all made a fuss of her. There is a huge field to let your dog run freely in which was lovely and a small activity area for them to have a go at. If anything we would have liked more variety on the bar menu, the food was lovely but it was all fried. You can't eat in the restaurant with the dog and we wouldn't have eaten every night in the bar as it was all fried food. This was a very minor fault though and I would recommend the Fish Hotel to anyone, with or without a dog.
