“We went to The Fish for our first staycation with our baby daughter and our doggie, and it was perfect. The hotel was spacious, clean and looked so chic. It was beyond dog friendly and all the members of staff couldn’t do enough to help. There was so many little quirky bits and more added extras than you could wish for. I would def recommend.”

“Stayed at the fish hotel in a coach house veranda room , for my wife’s 40th birthday, we couldn’t fault it one bit, the setting, the way they cater for all your dogs needs are fantastic. We had a meal at the hook and it was amazing, we will definitely be returning to the fish and definitely using pets pyjamas. Aimee at pets pyjamas was brilliant”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? For the cost it was disappointing cooked breakfast returned twice still not right.

“Stunning location grounds and communal area's,but rooms could do with updating and some TLC. Our large suite had a broken wardrobe fridge not working we had to move to a smaller suite no availability to change to a larger suite.”

“The hotel itself it set on beautiful grounds in a great location near to some great walks and a lovely town. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. The only place dogs can’t go is the restaurant but our dinner was set up in an adjacent dining room which was just as good. We did have a few issues with our stay: no dog bed in the room as advertised, temperature of the room was too cold despite having called 3 times for it to be increased, cleaner comes quite early and it’s noisy in case you wanted a lay in, and no chromecast in our room as advertised so we couldn’t hunker down and enjoy some rare tv time in the evenings.”

“We celebrated our first wedding anniversary at The Fish. The staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough. Pets pyjamas were competitive with their rates too. Would highly recommend!”

“excellent hotel for humans and dogs. we had a verandah room so plenty space and paved outdoor fully enclosed patio so excellent for doggy relaxation. dogs allowed everywhere except formal restaurant. always made welcome and given water bowls, beds at side of dining tables and sausages in the morning...lol. beds bowls treats etc all waiting for us in the rooms and plenty space and woodland walkies on doorstep. just brilliant”
