Location: In the heart of Helmsley, a pretty market town with plenty of pubs, places to eat and brimming with craft shops and food shops with local Yorkshire produce. There were plenty of walks in the immediate vicinity including Helmsley castle and walled gardens and the Duncombe Estate which was great for off-lead walks in rolling green acres Rooms: Stunning. We had a main house suite which was bigger than my flat with separate living/sleeping room, huge bathroom with a freestanding tub and walk-in shower and a separate dressing room. Mavis was greeted with a bowl, treats and a sleeping blanket in the room Restaurant: We didn't dine in the main restaurant (it's the only area other than the spa which isn't dog friendly) but we were in the adjacent lounge which had the same menus, great service and superb food. Mavis had a breakfast sausage and plenty of attention at the table from the lovely staff Spa: Great outdoor heated spa pool which is the centre piece of the hotel and surrounded by a seating terrace which is also dog friendly - will be lovely in the summer

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Only one plastic dog bowl and a very large dog biscuit for the dog so it's a good job we took our own no dog bed either so hotel good pets pajamas promises not so good
Lovely place most friendliest and polite staff we have encountered in a hotel the village was beautifully lit for Christmas and the locals were friendly as well and plenty of walks for the pip the dog

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Food is very good if a little on the expensive side.
Dig friendly throughout (except restaurant). They are happy to set you up a table to eat with your dog in the lounge area. We had a suite which was fabulous. Plenty of room for us and the dog. Didn’t use the spa facility but looked nice. Helmsley is a beautiful place to stay and accessible to mist other places.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely stay. The room, bed and real fire were amazing. The TV wasn't working which wasn't ideal but not the end of the world and probably gave us more relaxation time. We went in the pool once and it was a little cool and would have been amazing if it had been toasty warm instead! Really loved that it was outside! The food was ok, nothing amazing but decent and we would probably stay again in the future. The staff were all friendly apart from one breakfast lady who didn't seem keen to be there.

Lovely place to stay in a delightful village. Very disappointed the deluxe suite we stayed in didn't have a view of the pool area(considering the price we paid). In fact it was somewhat dated with a few things in need of attention ie loose taps in the bathroom. Can thoroughly recommend the tasting menu and wine flight...although very expensive!!!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Feversham Arms. The staff were lovely and very knowledgable about the best places to take our cocker spaniel puppy. Filey beach is a must! The food was amazing, the best food we have had and surpassed Michelin meals. We stayed in a suite which was perfect, the room was clean and had plenty of room for the puppy. The blanket and biscuit treats were a lovely surprise. We would thoroughly recommend staying here and we hope to visit again soon.
