“This hotel is super dog friendly and the staff were very welcoming. The restaurant and bar area was exceptionally comfortable and there was a great choice on the menu for the 3 nights we stayed. This is a great location to drive out for great walks in the vicinity. We were lucky with the weather in April but would have been just as good in the rain :) A big thank you to all the friendly attentive staff”

“After staying in around four other doggy hotels I have to say the Fox and Hounds are amazing! Dogs were totally spoiled and they are with you in the restaurant you are put under the stairs or in a sep room to eat. Beautiful exercise field for them and a river if they want to swim. The staff are fantastic and so welcoming - couldn’t do enough for you! Roomwas big and lovely with a patio overlooking the garden. Lots of woodland walks around too! Food was really good although if I had one criticism it would be evening menu as would have been nice for a salad dish or something less heavy but that would really be nitpicking as the halibut and chips was divine the new owners and staff are fabulous and go out of their way to make your stay great. Defiantly going back again. My frenchies loved their stay.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Fox and Hounds. The staff were so friendly and really dog friendly. The food we received was very good. We enjoyed everything about the holiday so did our dog. The countryside and the walks from the hotel are amazing. Beautiful countryside and not too far from the coast”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Spacious room ,clean and very comfortable.

“Thought we try our first break away with the hound! We could not have been happier with the Fox and hounds.the deal put together by pet pj's and the hotel was a credit to everyone involved. We wernt given reduced menus at dinner and the dog was spoilt as much as us. The hotel and its staff spoilt us and the dog.One thing we really noticed having travelled a lot is the positive attitude of the staff who are a real credit to the hotel. The food was amazing and Ruby loved her treats and fuss.everything we needed was in the room or was obtained for us .Thank you for a wonderful experience with our dog.”

“A sunny stay for our return to the fox and hounds. Warm welcome, accommodating staff , totally dog friendly. Great service, good food, nice balance of self service and special requests for breakfasts. Always a pleasure to stay there”

“Friendly staff. Dogs really are welcome. We stayed in the Haywood suite with 2 dogs and there was plenty of room and also a small enclosed decking area which meant we could leave the door open. The room was clean and tidy and the dogs had a treat on arrival. There is a nice exercise field next to the river. The location of the hotel is great for travelling to either coast. We did the pets pyjamas package which included meals and it was excellent value for money.”
