“Popular pub situated out of town. Lovely walk into town though along marina area. We left early so can’t comment on breakfast. They kindly made us sandwich’s though for our journey in the morning. Comfortable room nice bar area. Lots of outside space .”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The staircase is steep and narrow.

“The hitel was clean and the room was spacious. Tje staff were very friendly on the first night we stayed, but the second lot of staff were Ok. The food was nice, but the seond breakfast was not so well cooked. Room as serviced well and well socked with soap, hand cream etc.”

“We only stayed one night, but all the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location of the pub is excellent and the room was clean and of a good size. We have two dogs and they were extremely well accommodated! It was a lovely stay and we would happily return.”

“Firstly, the dogs were very well received, the room was nice and clean. The most annoying things was I went down on a Tuesday and tried to book a table for dinner to be informed that the bar was closing at 6:30pm and the restaurant was closed on a Monday and Tuesday evening out of season. Would I have booked this hotel knowing it closed early, don’t think I would have done. No one informed me before I went! Bit annoying as I certainly got wet walking home from another pub, the Kings Head which did really good food.”

“The pub iis near the sailing club marina and lido so plenty going on nearby and it's only a short walk into town. There is a small park 5 mins away for quick wallks, a coastal walk from the doorstep and of course the whole New Forest to explore. There were lots of dogs at the pub and loads locally - whole area seems very dog friendly. Breakfast was great -lots of choice - cooked to order and delicious. We are planning to come back!”

“Really friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is incredibly dog friendly and the food we had was superb. Very comfortable room and bed, sadly our stay was too short to enjoy the roll too bath but we will definitely be back again! Delicious breakfast the following day too.”
