We had a very good 3 night stay in a garden room with very easy access to the garden for our dogs, The whole hotel is beautifully decorated in restful colours and the swimming pool and jacuzzi were a bonus. All the staff were very dog friendly and very welcoming and helpful . We would happily return to visit Rye and Camber sands again.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The staff were lovely
Friendly and welcoming. Room was a good enough size for 2 adults and the dog. Bathroom could do with an upgrade as the shower in the bath had poor pressure. Food in the bar/restaurant was delivered timely and was a very good quality. Staff were attentive without being too visible. Lots of outdoor tables which was excellent as the weather was very warm. Unclear why an area to walk the dog in the grounds seemed out of bounds but wasn’t really an issue. If you’re going to be dog friendly then a nice touch would be doggie snack in the room or something of that kind. The pool looked very enticing but unfortunately we couldn’t leave the dog so we had to give it a miss. I would stay here again.

We returned yesterday from a 2 night stay with our 18 month old Cavapoo and we all had a great time! The hotel is really lovely, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was very spacious and clean, and the food in the hotel restaurant was excellent - we had dinner and breakfast and both meals were delicious! Also a nice touch being able to use the hotel pool and jacuzzi during our stay. We will definitely return in the future!

We stayed at the Flackley Ash hotel a few days after storm Eunice and during storm Franklin. Despite facing challenges to stay open the hotel staff did everything in their power to ensure we had a great time with them. The food in the restaurant was fabulous and our room was clean and comfortable. They had board games and DVDs to borrow and enjoy during our stay. The room was a little dated eg the bathroom could have done with being updated but that didnt take away from our experience. We will be happy to return.

We enjoyed our two night stay here. The food was delicious, the staff attentive and the room was big and spacious! It would have been handy if they could have provided dog bowls in the room (we were travelling by public transport and could only carry so much). The bed was comfy and our dog was allowed in the bar area which is where we chose to eat at night. Very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend!

We stayed for 2 nights over Fri/Sat night in one of the suites upstairs. First night the guests down below from us were extremely loud talking from midnight to 4am! Tried to contact hotel reception to no success so asked the guests to be quiet twice ourselves. The room itself needs a lot of work, updating decor to fixing the toilet that didn’t flush and a loose hot water tap. The shower head was so weak it almost trickled down! The bed was quite hard/soft in some areas not very comfortable. There was mascara stain mark on my pillow that didn’t wash properly when I wasn’t even wearing any make up! I should of asked for a better room however I understood they were fully booked. The restaurant food lacked flavour for the high price they charge. Cheese board was good that’s it. Breakfast was average again for the price they charge, needs some modernising esp with presentation. I give it 2 stars as the indoor pool was nice and enjoyable as well as the staff during dinner service who were so patient and accomodating to my young daughter who was getting restless waiting for her meal for 45mins. Dog enjoyed it but no doggy treats nor blanket was spared. Needs some work and attention to detail.

Dear Voni, We are sorry read that your stay at the The Flackley Ash Hotel did not go to plan at all, and was such a disappointing experience. We pride ourselves not only on our wonderful Pet Concierge Team, but also the fantastic properties we work with so we are let down to know we failed you on this occasion. Generally, our customer's have a really good time at The Flackley Ash Hotel (as you might be able to see from the reviews on our website), and they leave wanting to book their next pet-friendly break with us right away! Please accept our apologies for the fact that this is not what happened on this occasion, and rest assured we have passed your comments onto the team there and will continue to work closely with them, ensuring everything is as good as it should be. Thank you, Lauren

Stayed here for 2 nights this August with my adult daughter and labrador , Bailey. Lovely location and although we did not use it the pool and jacuzzi looked amazing. Young staff in the main who were extremely friendly , accommodating and helpful. Very dog friendly. The only negative was that the gluten free options for me were limited so we went out for dinner on the second night.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? I think for the type of room the cost could have included breakfast.
We had a lovely stay with our dog . The room we had was ok but very dated and bed too soft, it was also noiser on the last night due to people arriving in the next door bedroom. On arrival it took a time for our booking to be found but was sorted out with relief on our part. The good things were the lovely staff which made it, the food and the bar area.
