“Brockenhurst is a beautiful place. Staff at Balmer Lawn very friendly and efficient. Facilities nice, rooms a bit dated, no fridge in either room we had booked. Meal at Lodge restaurant very underwhelming. Although we had a lovely stay would not be on our list to return to.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Yes above is borderline. Sadly the sausage promised for our dog at breakfast was not forthcoming, so he would give a lower rating.

“Hotel is well situated. The staff are helpful and the food excellent. The only issue is the room- we were given Room 5 initially which was very small but having challenged this at reception, we were given an alternative which was better but still on the small size- you certainly couldn't swing a cat around it, let alone a dog!”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Balmer Lawn and they made our dog feel so welcome including a voucher for her to have a sausage at breakfast !”

“We have stated at the Balmer Lawn before but not with our dog. We were more than impressed with the attention to detail. When we got to our room there was a dog bed, water and food bowl, Pooh bags, snacks, a towel and even a voucher for a sausage at breakfast In relation to the room, it was fantastic and certainly didn’t feel like we had been put in a lower quality room because we were there with our dog. Could not fault it. Fantastic stay. Thank you.”

“A very well run hotel with friendly and professional staff. We had a lovely table allocated to us in the lounge area which was laid for breakfast and then dinner each day. Our dogs were given a warm welcome with cuddles and treats every day. We will return.”
