Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Certainly our dog was welcomed although you can’t eat in the main dining room with a dog. We knew that beforehand and it’s fairly common practice. Lots of staff at hand and all very helpful. Cosy ambience in lounge and bar
Reception couldn’t initially find our booking but found us a room that was the same as the one they said you’d booked it was ok and on the ground floor as we’d requested for the dog. It was comfortable without being outstanding which we had sort of expected for the price tag The staff were very helpful. The disappointment was the meal which was partially refunded. We’d expected better from the James Martin grill.

We arrived on Tuesday 9th Jan and were shown to our room - hotel staff parked our car and took our bags to room - number 83 - a good dog bed and bowls for our Jess - although it was up a few flights of stairs and she is 13 - we managed. We enjoyed our stay and on the first night my husband couldn't sleep due to the droning from the heating/air conditioning which was right above our room - it happened again on the second night so we asked to be moved so we could get a night's sleep = the hotel did well and gave us room 92 - this was a better room - with a short walk to the outside area. The staff were great at the hotel and the food was beautiful. The James Martin Restaurant "the Grill" was fabulous.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Well worth staying in this historic hotel.
Really enjoyed our recent stay in the Lygon Arms. We have been here three times and each time has been first class. Lovely room, truly dog friendly staff, the spa is great, the food delicious. The gardens out the back are ideal for the dogs. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Room and food seemed very expensive compared to other hotels
A very dog-friendly hotel. Our Golden Retriever was delighted to accompany us to the Russel Room for breakfast and to be offered a dog bowl of sausages to himself! The only drawback was a problem with the water system, water was running hot/warm from both the hot and cold taps in our room so he could not have a cold drink upon arrival at the hotel.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? It's obviously very expensive so I couldn't say it was good value for money
Very dog friendly. Very classy hotel. Fab service.

A fabulous stay! From the moment we walked through the door to when we checked out ... Staff with character and yet professional and courteous. Being able to eat in a lovely restaurant with our pooch was a perfect touch, food sublime, and our bedroom clean and comfortable.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The gravy bones and water bowls were a lovely addition and the warm water paw cleaning station was inspired!
The Lygon Arms in Broadway are completely dog-friendly, with well behaved pups all over the place. Our room had direct access outside, and the staff didn’t even mind the muddy paw marks on my bed which were cleaned daily by housekeepers that also loved my dog. We had dog bowls, a chew treat, a dog bed and some poop bags waiting for us on check in too. The dogs were welcome everywhere (except in Grill, but the same menu was available in the comfortable Russell Rooms restaurant); the gardens were beautiful with several discreet bins, the dog’s menu was spectacular and my dog loved every minute.

This beautiful hotel was an amazing stay. My friend and I bought our pooches. We did a lot of sightseeing as there are plenty of nearby trails. There are a lot of places to eat which are all dog friendly. Would definitely recommend as a good break. I would say make sure you check your bill when leaving making sure they have discounted the one dog stays for free through Pets Pyjamas.
