“From the moment we arrived staff were friendly and welcoming. Such a wonderful dog friendly hotel. Lennie (the pup) was greeted with a great and a fuss and the service was perfect throughout. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was so comfy and it was all just perfect. We had a 3 course dinner for a birthday treat and I couldn’t fault it one bit. The food was amazing!! I will definitely be recommending the hotel to anyone who asks!”

“The hotel is in a lovely quiet village and general location and a beautiful old building. Staff were all warm, friendly and welcoming including to our dog too. The hotel in general was clean and tidy with lovely décor and scenic feature wallpaper. Our room was on the first floor at the front of the hotel, overlooking the road, which was quiet and surprisingly with modern windows fitted. A standard classic room was a good size with sufficient room for us, the dog and all belongings. The garden is a good size too and just around the back of the building. Great touch with the dog wash point which also allows for walking footwear to be washed too. We ate there in the evening which was lovely and nicely presented along with the breakfast and our dog even had a sausage each morning, which she enjoyed. All in all, I would stay again and recommend.”

“Colwall park is a beautiful place. The staff were all so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Doggy treats, bed and bowls in the room is a lovely touch too so no need to take any with you . Fantastic place would highly recommend.”

“We spent 3 days over Christmas here and had a wonderful time. Scarlett was one of 14 dogs and was made to feel so welcome with dog biscuits, to have all meals with us and even her own Christmas Dinner. The meals were excellent, the room was lovely and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. There are lovely walks and wonderful scenery. We loved our time here and would definitely come back.”

“Spent three nights in a superior room, which was very spacious for us and our small dog. The food was very good with multiple dining venues, two of which were dog friendly. A large garden gave morning and evening dog outings which was very convenient. Although in a village the hotel was quiet and very close to the beautiful Malvern Hills with great dog walks and fantastic views. Would recommend.”

“We had a two night stay with our little dog at this hotel based on the website description. Disappointingly, our ‘classic’ double room bore no resemblance to the description on the website. There were no wardrobes, only hooks on the wall with coat hangers. The room was in need of updating, the radiator didn’t work, and we felt let down. There were no other rooms available. The bathroom was spacious and had underfloor heating which was nice, but the shower was a disaster, with very low water pressure and the shower head was dangerous having fallen from the support bracket several times. All that said, there were positives! The staff, especially Olivia, Eve and Josephine, were very welcoming, particularly to our little dog. They couldn’t do enough for us. Evening meals were very good but breakfasts were underwhelming. The hotel had a relaxed atmosphere with dogs and that made for a nice environment for the owners. The large garden was ideal for some exercise with your dog. Unfortunately I don’t think we’ll be making a return visit.”
