“My husband and I had a lovely stay at Colwell Park Hotel with our well behaved cockapoo in February 2025. All of the staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. The hotel is very dog friendly, with water bowls and treats in abundance. There was even a sausage or two exclusively for them at breakfast. The hotel is an old, historic building and as such is maybe a little shabby with cracks around the edges. We stayed in room 04 at the front of the hotel, which was styishly decorated. There was a little road traffic, but it didn't bother us. The bathroom however was very basic and out dated, with peeling paint and cracks. This is the main reason we haven't given 5 stars. We had drinks and dinner in the bar area, which was very nice. Breakfast was in a dining room IF there wasn't a guest in there who wasn't comfortable with dogs (we can understand not everyone is) then it was back in the bar area. Good location for exploring The Malverns with a train station a 2 minute walk away and on a bus route. There was plenty of free parking too. We would definitely stay again!!”

“Had a 3 night break at Colwall Park Hotel at the start of September. The staff there were lovely and made my dog Clover feel like she was an honoured guest. The room was well equipped and very comfortable, if a little on the dim side for reading. Nice atmosphere in the bar and although the food wasnt anything special, it was really convenient and did the job. The hotel is a lovely old Edwardian beuaty. It could do with a lick of paint here and there (couldnt we all!) but homely and welcoming. A quick hop past the station and youre at the foot of the Malvern Hills. Perfect location. WOuld definitely come again.”

“Good location the bedroom has had a make over back in 2021 i think it was okay but needs a little TLC. The bathroom needs some work to get it to a good standard. mould on the ceiling in spots, silicone around the bath coming off,door architrave mismatch,carpet coming off the runner leading to the bathroom, hole in the wall had been filled but not painted. Great outdoor space and very friendly staff. We had sunday lunch sadly the beef was dry and over cooked for me and the wife. Breakfast both poached eggs hard didn't ask for replacement. So 2 stars for the bathroom but 5 stars for the staff”

“Lovely Edwardian building with generous proportions so dogs meeting in wide corridors were very happy. The staff were very helpful and managed dinner even though we were delayed by a motorway closure. The breakfast was excellent and we and the dog look forward to our next stay.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The staff were all dog lovers which was great. Biscuit treats and am their own sausage at breakfast was their favourite time of day. Well stocked bar and good selection on their menu.

“Olde world type hotel set in a cul de sac leading to the railway station. After crossing the bridge there are several paths for dog walking . The hotel has its own car park which leads to a good sized garden with picnic tables and a separate area with tables and parasols.”
