Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? We had to chase up a dog bed in the room . Also had to ask about the inclusive tea and tickets for the Arboretum as we're not both automatically offered.

“Lovely hotel. Comfortable room. Good food but restaurant/ bar food on the expensive side. Afternoon tea amazing. Nice grounds to walk dog round.”

“We stayed at the Hare and Hounds for two nights in March. We had a lovely room which had everything we could have needed. The bathroom was excellent and had lovely Molten Brown Products and even included a magnifying mirror for applying my makeup. It is really dog friendly. Our dog Lola was treated to a dog sausage at breakfast. Dogs are allowed everywhere except the restaurant. We did eat in Jack Hares' bar one evening. I had the fish and chips which was fine, my husband had Steak which in his opinion was overpriced and a bit fatty. He also found the bacon at breakfast to be tough. We would certainly visit again.”

“Had a great time with our dog at the Hare and Hounds Hotel near Tetbury. Very welcoming and excellent facilities, food and service by everybody we had contact with. Grounds around the hotel very dog friendly.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at The Hare & Hounds Hotel. Our accommodation was provided in one of the "cottages" at the rear of the main hotel building. We had a lovely spacious room with a comfortable four-poster bed. We really appreciated having our own front door, with space outside to take our dog for a wander. The dog wash (with warm water) was very handy indeed. We chose to dine in the hotel both evenings and the food was good.”

“Brilliant house, staff and food. Couldn't have asked for more. Everything was also very dog friendly, from the room preparation to the catering at dinner and breakfast. And this was a nice area, in the Cotswolds. It was all brilliant.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Off the record - More staff in the dining area at breakfast! They were rushed off their feet and small things like a request for marmalade or more milk got forgotten in the process.

“Pets Pyjamas found this hotel for our short break with the dogs, Luna and Maggi. They were so welcoming to us all and the facilities were excellent. From a sausage for the dogs every morning at breakfast, to their own beds in our room. Walking maps were available for the area and a dog wash area with warm water was used by Maggi every day!! We will come again. Sue”

“Scout gives the hotel five paws. She was offered a sausage every morning. She loved them. The hotel was in a good spot to go exploring the Cotswolds many hikes and cute towns. The arboretum just up the road was one of her favorites. The room was very comfortable and spacious for the two of us and the dog. We stayed in Elm which is at the front near the laundry services and with the bar next to us. With windows open it was a bit noisy, but it wasn't bad enough to keep us awake. Breakfast is in a separate lounge where all of the dog owners sit, rather than in the main dining area. It's very pretty and worth sitting in sometime, just plan ahead and leave doggo in the room if you are able. Very happy with the food and service. We stayed for a week and it was a nice luxurious time.”
