“Spa was beautiful, food fantastic and couldn’t fault the staff nothing was too much bother and very friendly. You could eat with your dog but they didn’t make it obvious at check in. There was no dog food provided which had been every other time and no treats like a sausage at breakfast so it wasn’t as doggy friendly as we have had other places through pets pyjamas.”

“We had a wonderful stay. The hotel and grounds are amazing as well the spa and pool. Our dog was very happy as we had a room which led on the garden and we had breakfast and dinner on the main terrace so she could come with us. The staff were also really helpful and lovely. Wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely be going back again.”

“The hotel was gorgeous and the staff were all so lovely. They went out of their way to make it special for us and Vinnie (our Frenchie). We stayed for our wedding anniversary and could not have asked for more. The spa was incredible and the food in The Botanica was excellent.”

“We had an absolutely fantastic time at South Lodge with Mabel, we were looking for a short break with our pooch after our wedding and it was truly amazing. From check in we were warmly welcomed shown to our room which was beautiful little treats for Mabel and us on arrival was such a lovely touch. The patio doors opened onto a huge outdoor lawn which was perfect to take Mabel out first thing and last at night. Mabel was treated like a VIP water bowls set up for our dinner & breakfast reservations. All of the staff at South Lodge were so lovely and helpful, the Botanica restaurant is a must when visiting (only downside not dog friendly). All in all we had a lovely stay and we will definitely be back!”

“The Hotel, staff, and facilities are 1st class. Have booked every year for the last six years (missed last year due to covid) A big Thankyou to Dan, Lisa, and all the team for our lovely six night break. Looking forward to seeing you all again next year. xx”

“We visited for a 2 night stay with our 5 month puppy. I received a complimentary bottle of bubbles for my significant birthday which was much appreciated. The staff were friendly and very accommodating with our pooch. The room was wonderful and we absolutely loved the bathroom as it felt like our own private spa. The grounds were great for dog walks and most of all we enjoyed our experience at the spa. We shall definitely be returning for future special occasions. This is the place to be for a real treat and escape from daily life.”
