Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The new chef is still finding his way with a very restricted menu. Fish was super but brisket burger was badly over-cooked. There is nowhere to charge an electric car. Staff are genuinely delightful.

“A 2 minute walk from beautiful Dunwich beach, the staff at the Ship are utterly delightful. Very comfortable bed, great shower. The fish & chips is to die for but the menu choice is restricted, so best to check before booking. Best for a 1-2 night stay, or dine out if staying for longer.”

“Had a lovely overnight stay for our anniversary with pooch, accommodation very clean and comfortable, also comfy bed and treats for our fur baby. Dogs allowed everywhere in bar, conservatory and dining room which is bonus. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and food was delicious. Done some lovely walks from the hotel.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The hotel is perfect and relaxing for dog owners, walkers and people who want to take advantage of the outdoors.

“The location of The Ship is fantastic. We were spoilt for off lead dog walks and beautiful scenery. The hotel is very busy and the staff are friendly and helpful even under pressure. The rooms are …ok - and the hotel is the same. If you want luxury and fine dining, don’t come here. But if you have a dog, want a comfortable and clean room with smiley, helpful hotel staff - this is the place for you. The food was good honest fare and tasty. The cooked breakfast will keep you going all day and the Cromer Crab salad is the best in the area. We will go back. One improvement would be to install an EV charging point as the area is dire for fast chargers. Even Aldeburgh could only offer 22v chargers which would take visitors about 7 hrs to recharge. Nightmare for EV owners.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Not much interaction with staff. Who didn't take the little time to make sure you were happy with things. Only one of the waitresses asked if we were enjoying the meal.

“Generally hotel was fine. Not much of a welcome and little interaction with staff. Room was OK,, clean and warm. Evening meal was a disappointment. Very greasy and items on the plate not a good match for each other. Breakfast was OK but bacon and sausages still somewhat greasy. Second day Eggs Benedict for breakfast was much better. Would recommend Bed and Breakfast only as lots of other places available for evening meals.”

“A wonderful place to stay. The staff could not have been more helpful and made our stay perfect. The food is amazing and oh yes there is Marmite available for breakfast too, so that's worth 5 stars on its own. Within walking distance of the beach and there are great forest walks too. Milo our dog got lots of attention and loved it here.”

“Fantastic little hotel great service food was great . But in my opinion I would not have dogs in the main hotel , as others could set of other dogs in the night? Maybe use the small cottages for dogs,”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Need plug points near mirrors as you can’t use hairdryer as plug socket too far away
