“We stayed on a 3 for 2 night break and thoroughly enjoyed it. The deal offered by pets pyjamas was great value! The hotel is super dog friendly with some lovely extra touches, treats by the door and a sausage for breakfast. The room had a dog bed, bowls and extra treats too! The staff were welcoming and attentive. For humans the extra touches made us feel spoilt, great toiletries, robes, slippers, Nespresso machine and chocolate to name a few. A comfy bed and timings for breakfast and check out were also generous. The food was delicious and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. Outside the grounds are amazing for exercising your pooch and all this a short walk from Malton with some wonderful independent coffee shops and retailers, virtually all dog friendly. We even wandered 5 mins to the station and jumped on the train to York for the day. All in all we would highly recommend, we will certainly return.”

“Very attentive staff, nothing is too much trouble. Fabulous food, and spacious bedrooms. We have 2 large dogs rescue dogs which can be challenging. The staff were so helpful to make our stay comfortable”

“WHAT A HOTEL! We were obviously sceptical, taking our puppy on his first holiday, but in reality we had nothing to worry about. We got the best possible deal booking with Pet Pyjamas, absolutely outstanding, and they weren’t lying when they say they have the best hotels. The talbot was simply incredible. Amazing staff, who obviously have the best job by welcoming all the dogs in, and you can tell they all love it! The food was also incredible, and the fact our boy could eat with us too was just lovely - he even got a sausage at breakfast every morning especially! The views and rooms were just so lovely too. Couldn’t recommend them any more!”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Didn’t receive our welcome pack from pets pyjamas but after ringing them we received one later that day when we got back from a day out.

“The room was large but a bit dated but despite this was comfortable and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast and the 1 evening meal was really good and Freddie our cockapoo enjoyed his sausage every morning. Very Dog friendly. Would definitely stay here again.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The Talbot hotel is very well situated and is a great base to visit lots of nearby places, eg Castle Howard, Filey, Scarborough, Pickering and the Eden Camp Modern history museum.

“As soon as we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and all the staff made a fuss of our elderly blind Yorkie. The dog bed, bowls and treats in our room were a lovely touch. We really enjoyed our five night stay at the Talbot; our room was clean and comfortable and we thought the food was excellent. Our little dog really enjoyed her breakfast sausage every morning as well! The hotel is very well situated in the centre of Malton, with lovely grounds where you can walk your dogs and superb views. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and we would thoroughly recommend a stay here to anyone.”

“Highly recommend a stay at The Talbot, wonderful hotel with wonderful staff, felt welcome along with our dog, they treat the dogs just as good as they treat the humans so can't fault this hotel at all. Food was awesome and room we stayed in was very large, clean and very comfortable. Would definitely return for another visit.”
