“Wow what a find in a beautiful part of the world. The hotel is beautiful with an elegant taste and is spotless and well kept. Staff were brilliant nothing was too much trouble and the staff were great with poppy our dog. Breakfast was a treat as the morning staff looked after us with a breakfast to beat and poppy had her doggy sausage on her own plate each morning. So al in all the staff were great, the food was great and the setting was great and WE WILL BE BACK”

“Fabulous address with beautiful decor in town centre, yet great facilities to retreat from any crowds and unwind. Very professional staff for whom nothing was a trouble. Hope to return soon.”

“What a lovely, lovely Hotel. You can tell the staff are pet lovers, they made our little guy Arthur feel very welcome. Rooms are very cozy, comfortable and clean. The grounds are great for a short walk and the town itself are very welcoming. We will definitely be staying again”

“Good doggy place to stay. Lovely food. Facilities for disabled people are poor to say the least. A lift would have helped.”

“Very clean, tidy and welcoming. All staff are friendly and helpful. Food was great especially Sunday lunch where they substituted meat for halloumi, Very accommodating. The grounds are big and ideal for walking the dog and sausages for your pooch every morning. Great base for exploring Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and beyond.”

“Just love this place and staff, Talbot is in a great location with beautiful views, our Room was such a cozy calm place... Home from home.... Great atmosphere our dog didn't want to leave she was welcomed by the staff.. Lovely walks and grounds us and our dog just loved it..... Big thanks you”

“It's very homely and welcoming, the staff are absolutely lovely can't do enough for us.... Views and walks from hotel is fantastic... My dog loved the space to run around at the back of the hotel... Just loved our stay going back again soon”
