“Open fires, comfortable rooms, lovely views across the Derwent Valley, easy access on foot to Malton's delightful town centre. All this and more is available at The Talbot. We had 4 nights there and it wasn't long enough! The dog was made very welcome throughout the hotel. The only place that the dog couldn't go was the restaurant, but that is not a problem as there are several comfortable bar areas where food is served.”

“We stayed two nights , room was large, clean with a beautiful bathroom, staff were all very friendly, we also had our evening meal there the first night , excellent food, the Banoffee Yorkshire pudding was amazing, I would highly recommend this hotel.”

“The Talbot is a well located dog friendly hotel, with a large outdoor space for running dogs. The decor was tasteful and the bedroom spacious providing all the little things that make a trip special. The food was excellent from breakfast through to dinner even down to the coffees.”

“This is our second time staying here with our dog. The hotel is a beautiful, stunning setting and a big safe field to let our dog Lola have a good run around. The breakfast and evening meals were all cooked to order, hot and tasty, not forgetting Lola and her breakfast sausage! Every member of staff made our stay wonderful, we will be back.”

“Lovely hotel, the staff are brillant, can't do enough for you. The room had plenty of space for Daisy, and the large grounds had plenty of space for walking her. The food was also very good. Would recommend The Talbot to anyone. We are stopping there again next weekend on the way home!”

“Everything was really perfect, from our room , all the pets beds ,treats and even the welcome , With in a couple of days , everyone knew our pets names , our names and our usual drink on an evening. We'll worth a visit. We will be back .”
