Such a beautiful weekend away with our 11 year old little dog and our 5 month old baby. The dog friendly room was perfect, our dog enjoyed easy access outside through the garden door in our room and loved his box of treats and the extra cuddles from the friendly housekeeper. The hotel staff were very welcoming to us and our little baby too, even in the restaurant where they were careful to find us a quiet corner to sit together. Really delicious food, yummy breakfasts and brilliant to have access to the pool and spa. Even managed to squeeze in a massage which was perfect! Such a lovely weekend, I wish we could go back!

Lovely hotel with lovely staff. The breakfast, served in our room was enormous and the evening meal was very good too. Our dog was made a huge fuss of and the grounds were great for little walks with her. All in all a very pleasant stay.

The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful, clearly liked dogs, and the hotel had beautiful grounds (see photo) to walk around with our dog, Daisy, and much-needed tables and chairs to sit at and relax in the shade. Pub meals in Nelson's bar with our dog were good. However, we had a bottle of Pinot Grigio twice here and each time it wasn't cold enough and we had to ask for ice cubes to put in the wine cooler! Our Palm Court restaurant meal (dogs not permitted) was excellent; here white wine was served at the correct temperature. Have enclosed a photo to show the so-called 'patio' behind our ground floor room that according to Pets Pyjamas was 'perfect for Daisy'. I think much poetic licence was used in this description of a row of two flagstones along the length of several rooms. As breakfast was served in the no dogs allowed Palm Court restaurant (to go to the Nelson's Bar for breakfast would have required a long walk there carrying food/drink items from the breakfast buffet), we never received a daily breakfast sausage for Daisy either. Daisy did appreciate the welcome dog gift and enjoyed the treats, however.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Thanks to Chris at Pets Pyjamas who oganised the room and got us a very good package
We had a pleasant twin ground floor room with french window access to a lawned area with dog bin. There was also direct access to car park. KoKo enjoyed her welcome pack. I thought this arrangement was first rate no wandering around the hotel in night clothes for am pm toileting. The pool area was fine with a well equipped gym. Spa treatments were available but didnt book in advance and they were fully booked. The spa area is lovely with a beautiful garden. Food was gastro pub style and the meals we had were very good. Carrying breakfast food and cutlery back and forth from Palm Court to Nelsons bar was a distinct minus. Staff would assist but we invariably forgot a plate or butter and had to go to the restaurant to get it. Day 3 we ordered room service and the food and service were 5 star!

The hotel deserves the 4 stars rating. The surroundings and hotel grounds were beautiful and well kept, the rooms were comfortable and well furnished. There was a dog bed, and dog bowls provided with a small gift and a tub of doggie calming treats. The pub was dog friendly and the food was excellent. Hotel staff was friendly and efficient. An excellent weekend enjoyed by the whole family.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Please put a small refrigerator in the rooms!
This hotel is truly geared toward dogs and their families! The complimentary treats were welcomed by our pup and the bar area was great for us to hang about in. I wish there had been a small refrigerator in the room, as our pup requires a special diet that really should be refrigerated. Booking with Pets Pajamas was very easy as well. Our first preference hotel wasn't available but I received a phone call from an agent who quickly found this property for us. Such great service all around!
