Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? We had breakfast each morning, the only comment is, it would be great if a table was set up for us for breakfast. As when we went into the pub area. It didn’t feel so great as we were left to ourselves. Staff were great , but they could have checked we were okay. Especially on our first breakfast.

“Excellent hotel with transport link to chester about 15 mins. The only slight complaint was that dogs are not allowed in the main restaurant only in the nelson bat. This is not a problem in the evening as it is waiter service but at breakfast which self service you have to walk through the reception with your food.”

“Stunning hotel and well groomed gardens with pond covered in white water Lillie’s. The wooden bridge and willow tress set the scene. Lots of outside seating for when the weather decides to warm up. Beautiful dog friendly bedrooms we had a suite with wet room. Good food at reasonable prices and amazing breakfast with loads of choice.”

“A great hotel with attentive staff, good food and fab breakfast. Stayed in a ground floor room which was spacious and comfortable. Lots of amenities, and well worth a stay.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? After checking in didn't feel a dog friendly welcome.

“Good points;large room, dog bowls and bed. Bad points!;first night we had to push to get the menu for the Palm Court food in the Nelsons Bar. We were then sat as far away from others eating, told due to allergies as we had Murphy with us. Second night we were sat with everybody else. For breakfast we sat in the Nelson Bar told the staff we were there when we went to the Palm Court to collect our breakfast. We were then brought coffee and left. No one brought sausages for Murphy so we went and got them from the buffet but had to ask for a bowl on both days. Being on our own didn't bother us if we were checked on at least once. Having to carry breakfast from the buffet to our table in the Nelson Bar meant going through reception full of people check-in out.”

“The room was lovely, there was dog beds, bowls and treats for the dogs. The staff were really welcoming and loved the dogs. The food was delicious and the dogs were allowed in the restaurant. Spa and swimming pool was amazing too. Really enjoyed our massages and as the dogs were so comfortable cthry could be left in the room.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? There are bus stops a short distance from hotel for the no. 1 Arriva service Chester to Wrexham which runs every 15 mins Monday to Friday and has good views from upstairs.

“Enjoyed a 2 night stay at the Grosvenor Pulford with our cavapoo. Had a well maintained ground floor room with access to garden areas for the dog. Breakfast was good with lots of choice; we had our breakfast in Nelsons bar both mornings as we wanted to have dog with us rather than leave her in bedroom. The staff are friendly and helpful and would happily stay there again in the future.”

“We received a very warm welcome when we arrived at the hotel reception with our King Charles Spaniel. The room felt very luxurious and the dog bed, bowls and treats were a really nice touch. Dogs are welcome in the bar area called Nelsons which offers the same menu as the main restaurant. We will definitely be back.”
