“Staff very warm and inviting nothing was too much trouble. They were prepared for Tedis visit who is diabetic and requires insulin. The staff were all made aware that it needed to be kept in the fridge. The room was exceptional more like a boutique suite. Breakfast was served quickly and hot with plenty of variety. The bar staff were knowledgeable about the bears and wines. There was a varied menu and food was available throughout the day.”

“Amazing hidden gem set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside. Lovely place, very welcoming to dogs and humans, gorgeous rooms, amazing staff. Couldn't have asked for more. Ignore reviews saying no walks. Pub has a brochure with 4 walks direct from venue and there are lots of others within a short drive. Very high standard of food with lots of choice. Dogs not only welcomed but encouraged everywhere. We will definitely be back and have no hesitation recommending to others.”

“Arrived Xmas eve for 2 night stay- staff and rooms friendly and comfortable also very clean . Extremely busy for xmas. Food was very good - but overpriced as was the drink. Nothing to do other than eat or stay in room - no music or entertainment- room had small tv and wifi wasn’t working. Lounge/restaurant were too busy and noisy to relax hence we went home a day early as not enjoying being stuck in one room with nothing to do with 2 dogs (we couldn’t go for walks as husband awaits foot surgery and one dog is blind) If you want a stopover with dogs and enjoy nice food (if a bit pricey) where you’ll feel welcome then this is worth a visit”

“The room was lovely and big with a large, clean and modern ensuite! The bed was sooo comfy and cosy! And the dog bed and bowls were a lovely little extra. Will definitely be returning.”

“The rooms were beautiful big and easily accessible-worth every penny-their was a gift for Moose in the room with a menu at the bar for the dogs to have and enjoys was really special and thoughtful. It set the bar for our holiday extremely high and we enjoyed the hotel fully - rooms are easy to access as the go up gradually a few stairs at a time”
