“The Bear's Paw is a lovely country pub with great food and service. Dogs are given a warm welcome from the team. Despite the abundance of muddy boots and paws, everything felt very clean. The rooms are very comfortable too. Thank you”

“Lovely warm welcome at this Inn with rooms. Our room exceeded expectations, very large and comfortable. Great food and drink, relaxed atmosphere and a roaring fire in the bar. All staff are very welcoming to dogs. Our French Bulldog loved his dog bed and a fluffy rug to lie on. Dogs welcome in all areas including for breakfast.”

“We had such a great stay and warm welcome from the staff. The food was delicious! We are thinking of doing this as our annual Christmas get away with our dog! The venue is soooo dog friendly and even has a dog menu! Thank you so much for making our stay memorable!”

“TheBears Paw is a comfortable and well-run hotel which is extremely dog friendly. My room was spacious and comfortable but being on the second floor, with no lifts, meant that outside access for toileting my large, elderly G.S.D was strenuous for both of us! As we were only there for one night we coped but a longer stay would have required a change of room or hotel. The food was excellent and the service was very good. Prices were as expected for this type of establishment and I felt that the charges were fair.”

“Stayed overnight here with our dog and could not have been happier. It's an immaculate hotel with friendly, efficient staff and great food. The room was very comfortable (even great pillows - a rarity!) and our dog received his own welcome pack! We will definitely be going back.”
