“absolute delight to be a guest at The Westleton Crown. room was lovely and clean, the bar well stocked and staff team was great. surrounding areas very clean, all dog friendy with lovely walks and dog friendy beaches.”

The restaurant food was lovely but we did find it a little pricey and also the 'dog menu' was lacking somewhat, I am a raw feeder or I cook and prep my own fresh food for my dog; which makes it difficult to tour etc so it would have been great if I'd been

“This was an almost perfect stay for us, our two dogs loved it and we loved the well-laid-out beautiful room. The dogs were catered for well in the room with bowls, towels, delicious treats.... and the special dog beds were a great touch; mine slept stretched out in hers all night!. Plus we really enjoyed being in an exterior room with our own front door; which was also great for the dogs and us. The bathroom facilities were very nice; I personally love a bath, so thank you and although the rain shower was great, I do prefer a hand-held shower head. It was also a great place to explore Walberswick and Southwold from, very close and accessible. ...So all in all, it was a great stay!”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The only thing I would say is even though we knew the room was going to be small it was much smaller than we had expected. We only have a small toy poodle dog so it was OK for us but I don't know how anyone would get on in that room if they had a larger d

“Only stayed for one night our room was a bit on the small side but we new that before we got there. The room was nice and clean and a clean dog bed and a towel was supplied for our dog plus some treats. The hotel is in a good place easy to get to the places we wanted to visit. Great breakfast and evening meal. Lovely friendly staff I would definitely recommend this place we had a nice break away.”

“We visited the Westleton Crown between Christmas and New Year and had the most relaxing and enjoyable experience. Our room was beautifully decorated, as is the rest of the building where they have balanced modern style and colour with traditional and cosy. There were dog beds, towels and treats for our boys who settled almost immediately. We ate in the restaurant area reserved for dogs both evenings - the food was excellent and service equally good. At breakfast the staff were just as efficient and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough - they have brought together all the elements which create the best experience for guests.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The hotel needs to make sure humans and dogs can do stairs as the attic room was stairs in the extreme

“Last hotel on our travels and good thing too as our Newfie had never been encouraged to climb stairs and we were put in the attic- our mother could not have climbed the stairs and had we been required to use the fire escape our dog would be in trouble as we couldn’t carry a 70kg dog. The rooms we had were lovely and a great size for a big dog but the stairs were steep and many which had it been the start of our trip we would not have been able to take Moose our Newfie to the room. The meals were amazing but there wasn’t anything special for Moose when he arrived”

“Lovely hotel in a great location in Suffolk. The room was really spacious. The staff were very helpful. The only downside was the dinner menu, it was very limited and there were no specials so you didn’t want to eat there every night.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? If you are indicating that your hotel is a dog friendly hotel then include them your stay.

“Lovely hotel and great staff , but l do have to mention that although we were expecting the dog aspect to no a lot more than other hotels that we have taken our dog too . Our meals were not in the main restaurant and felt that we were put in the bar because of our dog. No sausage offered . No bowl in room , treats ect . In our lovely bedroom there were no biscuits , teas and coffees not replaced . towels not tidied up . No information booklet , no hairdryer in room and a cracked basin in bathroom . l know some of these may have been removed due to covid restrictions but this should have been mentioned when booking . It was also mentioned that it was our anniversary and birthday but this was not acknowledged. I don’t normally complain but most of the above are easily changed and by doing this it will be the star rated hotel that we were expecting Saying all this please pass our thanks onto the staff .”
