“Stayed one night here and spend a lovely afternoon on Dunwich beach, unspoilt and our dog loved it. Quick drink in their sister pub the Ship by the beach before checking in 7 mins drive away to the Crown. Well appointed comfortable rooms. Even a bed made up for our dog. He was able to dine with us and even had a breakfast sausage.”

“Best dog friendly stay we have ever had. Staff excellent and Rosie our dog was so looked after and spoilt . The Westleton Crown very comfortable, especially the snug area. Restaurant great, tables well spaced, Rosie even had her own breakfast sausage Rooms good, with dog bed, towel, bowls and dog treats Great location very pretty village”

“Lovely cosy place. Friendly staff. Delicious food and dog friendly. Our pooch Daisy loved her sausage for breakfast. Also loved the dog bed in the room.”

“We booked a one night stay at the Westleton Crown and took our 15 week old puppy where we visited a couple of local beaches. Everyone was very welcoming, the pub & rooms were lovely and you definitely had that cosy feeling. The food was also very nice, we would definitely visit again.”

“Very nice welcome when we arrived. The friendly and helpful attitude was maintained by all the staff for the duration of our stay. Dinners were excellent with a very extensive wine list to choose from. Convenient for getting the all important dog business sorted out first thing in the morning as there is a garden with a gate leading onto what looks like a disused horse paddock which guests are entitled to use. A very nice location with extensive open access heathland and forest areas to walk in. Only three miles from the sea as well.”
