Wall Tie Kit – Replace Cavity Wall Ties!
The Easi-Fix Mechanical Replacement Wall Tie Kit is a reliable, cost effective and easy way to replace corroded wall ties in a cavity wall. Our patented high strength neoprene wall ties are the quickest way to replace wall ties on the market. We’ve sold over a million units to date.
Our DIY wall tie kit is designed to cover approximately 20 metres at a coverage rate of 2.5 ties per m². Remember, this does not take into consideration closer installation around openings such as windows and doors.
Included in the replacement wall tie kit:

50 x Easi-Fix Neoprene Wall Ties (a patented high strength, single fix neoprene remedial wall tie that sets new standards in replacement wall ties)
1 x Unique Easi-Fix Auto key
1 x 10mm x 310mm Armeg SDS Drill bit

Important note: to use this remedial wall tie kit you will require a drill with a variable torque settings and that has hammer and driver modes to fix the ties.
We also provide a replacement wall tie kit for bigger jobs. Please see the technical data sheet in the Downloads tab for fixing instructions for our Easi-Fix replacement wall ties. You can also read our guide to wall tie replacement.
Replacing cavity wall ties
The patented Easi-Fix neoprene wall tie is simply installed into a pre-drilled 10mm pilot hole. The unique auto key (provided in our DIY wall tie kit) is attached to a drill driver and placed over the end of the replacement wall tie onto the brass nut. Then you can tighten the wall tie slowly with the drill.
Once the internal end of the replacement wall tie is tightened, the brass nut will then run down the thread on the outer side and tighten the external fixing. The tie at this point is fixed and you are ready to move onto the next hole. When you’ve installed all your ties at the required spacing, you can be confident that structural integrity has been restored.
All Easi-Fix replacement wall ties should be installed in accordance with the advice given in BRE Digest 329 and BRE Digest 401.

The 10yr warranty inspector spotted some wall ties missing on a new build So the largest ones of these have done the job. Fitted about 25 of these in about an hour, that included climbing around the scaffolding. Have taken pictures, just hope he's happy with the results. It was going to be a rendered property so all good.

I bought Easi-Fix Neoprene Replacement Wall Tie Kit Mini. It should have come with a 10mm drill, but it came with a 12mm drill, instead. Fortunately as it is the first time I have used these wall ties, I only drilled one hole, before inserting the first tie, to try it out. It was slack, so I put that drill bit aside and used a 10 mm drill I already had for all the other ties. They all seemed to expand and grip securely. All Youtube videos on replacing wall ties seemed to relate to Helifix ties, not neoprene ones, so I thing it would help if Permagard did a Youtube video on use of neoprene ties.
