“We have only just used this so will how yo see how it works in the colder weather. I can say however that it went on easily amd the wall is definitely warmer to the touch.”
“Very carefully and securely packaged for shipping - not always the case with paint orders online, which can leak - and, being water-based, Permagard is easy and pleasant to use. Excellent coverage of old walls providing a bright and durable finish; its two coat recommendation works as an attractive painted surface in addition to its anti-condensation qualities. Too early to give a review of the long term impact but early signs are that it will be a successful anti-condensation and anti-mould finish, feels warm and dry to touch after years of problems with the walls. “Bit early to say if it has cured my condensation problem. Quite a thick paint but not hard to roller on. My only slight moan is that it dries like a fine roughcast finish. Second coat the same. 2 coats of Dulux Matt takes your eyes away from it but rub your hand on the finished job and I feel it is just too rough a finish. Let's hope it cures the problem @£70 delivered.”
