We understand your concerns around iron. For men, the daily recommendation by public health bodies is 9-10mg of iron per day. But we know that everyone is slightly different, and many factors can influence daily intakes and absorption rates.
Because iron is an essential mineral for many functions, we’ve included it in a very small amount to cater for individuals that may not consume enough iron in their diets. Also, iron absorption can be hindered by a variety of dietary factors, such as tea and coffee consumption, which may reduce overall serum levels.
We absolutely value your feedback Tim and will take this on board for future reformulations. In the meantime, you may wish to take a 2 capsule serving per day rather than 4. This will still offer adequate nutrition but with a reduced level of daily iron.
